Re: Reason 12 has arrived
On my M1 iMac Reason 12 is so slooooow - definitely some issues with graphics. As a plugin in Ableton it works fine though

I'm buying standard. VST rack is amazing (played with beta - it changed my workflow already).
And I also really like all new effects.

Re: Announcing Reason 11
Fantastic update! I'm really happy Reason is taking Rack as VST direction - I'll upgrade to Suite version, I was postponing to buy PHs REs to see what will be included in the next update and I'm more than happy to see almost all their REs there. It is interesting how MIDI would work with Reason Rack...

Re: Module idea for blamsoft polymodular setup
+1 for more modular devices... What I miss in Reason is a bunch of east-coast modules: 1. Something like Make Noise Maths - that can accept CV or Audio and output CV and Audio (like VK2) 2. Low Pass Gate emulation 3. Buchla/MakeNoise DPO-like Complex Oscillator (where everything can be modulated vi...

Re: Complex from Propellerhead
It really shines when using with external devices. I found super cool to modulate frequency of main OSC with Dr.Octorex loops. And it was surprisingly good sound when modulating not frequency but the amount of FM with audio signal from rex-loops.

Re: Complex from Propellerhead
OMG! Buchla synth is finally here!!! I was hoping to see at least complex osc and LPG in Reason some day... but a complete West Coast system inside Reason... my dreams came true!
Pheads,thank you!

Re: ReSpire, resized
Reveal Sound, please redesign it. Right now UI is really hard to work with. FX/Stepper/Matrix menu is terrible - I have around 100 REs -and it is worst design from the usability point of view. Redesigned UI suggestions are waaaay better

Brilliant article! Can't wait final release (though I'm already happy with beta - works very well).
It is great to see commitment in all three ways: Reason features, REs and VSTs!

Valhalla are great reverbs, if you have $500 for it - Altiverb is the best convolution reverb.

It is hard to work with VST without iLok... Some of the best VSTs require it - Soundtoys, Slate Digital, Softube...

Re: Cheap places for plug-ins
KVR forum SELL and BUY subforum is the most active second-hand plugin marketplace - best prices are there. I've bought and sold there lots of plugins.
And Audiodeluxe and JRR - both have additional discounts when you add plugin to the cart (sometimes you can get stuff really cheap from them)

Re: Robotic Bean presents Resonans, Reason`s first physical modelling synthesizer!
Wow! I didn't expect that the day ReSpire comes to Reason I would have much more fun playing with another new synth! Very well done! I can definitely see Mutable Instruments touch there (i have most of their modules in my eurorack) - font, colors of Model panel. And it is great to have external audi...

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!
Is it just me or do you feel that it is just early beta? Menus for modulation, waveforms, unison, filters are terrible. Matrix implementation is not visual at all... No CV inputs except CV and Gate!!! Come on - even VST has 8 inputs! It feels totally unusable for me (except probably playing presets ...

Re: Last time you purchased an RE? Will you still support REs?
I'll be happy to buy unique REs that take advantage of Reason's flexibility - Blamsoft VK2 is a great example - you can freely route anything anywhere. Would be cool to see more modular stuff - west coast modules, some weird processing devices, better CV tools. Maybe something new like mixers (would...

Re: Drag'n'Drop Samples in VST??
You can drag sample from Finder/Win Explorer to VST window - it works well (I've tested with Serum and Maschine).
But you can't drag sample from Reason browser for some reasons... may be Pheads fix it in the next updates
