Re: Reason 12.6.1 Update - Out Now
We have updated the release notes with a few bullets (accidentally left out initially). Here's the updated list Reason 12.6.1 Release Notes Cleanups and fixes of audio threading code that can reduce glitches at low load (M1 Pro) Fixed an issue where an error was triggered when clicking on the GUI ic...

Re: 12.5d29 Automation Recording bug
This is an unfortunate regression bug in 12.5 as a result of tweaking some automation code for our VST3 hosting.
We are working on a fix for this issue and it should hopefully be included in the next maintenance update.

Re: Reason 12.2.8 Release Notes
the last update broke my plug in search menu for any manufactures that have more than 99 plug ins, like waves and ua, so I have reservations on updating especially since the "sort" option being broken Are you referring to the 12.2.8 release? Did you file a report to our Tech Support or even better,...

Re: Reason 12 doesn't work with old video card (OpenGL old version)
@loui: Wouldn't adding the workaround be a good thing to add to the trouble shooting FAQ? I know what you mean and it might sound as an easy fix. But we would have to investigate what these dll's do and if they are safe to install before we would even consider pointing our users to this installer. ...

Re: Changing Reason 12 Theme from Dark to Default Messes Up Reason Badly
Wow.... just wow. Today I decided to change my Reason 12 (version 12.2.5d138) to the light coloured theme for a change... What does this mean, did you just switch to Default Theme in the Preferences, and all this happened? Anyone else here had this happen? In Reason's Manage Plugins window, did the...

Re: Constant crashes when loading Reason VSTi in Reaper
See here: https://youtu.be/DvaTGXHFPTI This almost always happens, usually if the session is playing while loading the VST. Anyone know what is wrong? Would be great if you could reproduce this in a logging Reason beta, create a ticket and attach the log. Sign up for the latest beta here: https://w...

Re: Reason 12.2.5 Released
There's funny bug which I experience only after I updated to 12.2.5 - I call it dancing rack :) Was playing with Reason today and was thinking something like "wait I am not drunk yet...what is happening with my eyesight"... See my GIF screenshot. Rack is dancing on itself. Right side of it. See my ...

Re: Reason 12.2.5 Released
I have never before now experienced any issues with reason. Now I get "unknown exception" all the time. Though I am a proficient user I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. FML. Re: Reason 12.2.5 Released
Based on this thread it seems that I'm having an opposite experience than most with this update. The previous version was working quite well for me (12.2.4) despite an annoying and persisting bug in the RRP that I'm hoping it gets fixed some day. Now Europa, Expanse, Complex-1 and other devices (St...

Re: VST tiny in Reason 12
Valid questions. You are required to have a registered Reason 12 license, or a Reason+ subscription to run the R12 beta. If you have an older license, it will open in Demo mode as well. I have now updated my original post with this info. Before the Reason 12 release you could run the R12 beta with a...

Re: VSTs are too small now in Reason 12
We are currently testing a new Auto-scale implementation in the Reason beta. This feature allows the user to select which VSTs should follow Windows scaling, and which should have auto-scaling set to Off. Since all VSTs behave differently with Windows scaling we decided it's better to have an option...

Re: Reason 12 has arrived
I reported issues to the Reason team. But for information: I have a problem with the GUI that hangs completely for about 30 seconds (making Reason unusable), every minute or so. It does that to me on some projects, not all, so I investigated a bit. It turns out that if I remove the VST "Analog Lab ...

Re: High resolution Reason is here!
Something must be wrong with this early version of R12. All my projects need much more time to load and what is more annoying they need more than twice as much of RAM. That means that even 16 GB of RAM are quickly insufficient on my 2 music PCs (I7 88770K, 16 GB RAM & I9 9900K 16 GB RAM). Unfortuna...

Yes, please do sign up. It's a new Beta program which will commence at some point in a not too distant future. If you are familiar with our previous public testings that we've had just prior to major releases, this is something similar but with some major differences. 1. It will not end, this is a c...
