I have reported this bug on 17/08/2017. Kind of sad

If I had to pick one I'd choose synapse - great synths and very good support / communication

Further in top 5: arturia, valhalla DSP, fabfilter, vengeance

It's going to be there end of 2021 according to the roadmap

Wow, couldn't tell the difference between those test samples of each synth. Do you use Dune 3 as a VST2 in Reason DAW? If so, do you find it works well - no crashes etc.? I'm still waiting to hear back from Synapse if there's a VST2 demo I can try but if you're finding it's stable in Reason I might...

Just waiting for the RE to be on sale...Currently it is a race between Arturia and Synapse. If i get a good offer from Arturia first, i skip Synapse.

I'd also take cpu usage into account. Synapse seems to be MUCH easier on CPU than arturia. This is based on my experience in pigments3 vs dune3.

Maybe the location missing files will be able to scan more than 5 files per hour now

Can you relocated the data files for Pigments 3? I seem to recall the trial rather rudely installing loads of stuff on my small OS SSD rather on my much larger data drive. anyone know? ... this sounds bad... although I do have 1,33 tb open on my ssd... what do you mean by loads of stuff and where? ...

I tried version 2 at a friend's and it seemed incredible

The cpu usage is even more incredible
I do like the synth though just keep in mind it's even more cpu hungry than other modern do-it-all synths like avenger
