I can't seem to get the problem to happen now. I've set the sample rate back to 48,000 and it works fine every time I open it now. But if the problem returns, I'll be back in touch.

Where can I report a bug? It seems my problem goes away if I set Reason's sample rate to 44,100, which I think is what all the WAV files were originally.

Update: it seems to be related to the clips, not the tracks. Weird. I can't find any difference between the clips that play and the clips that don't. And yes, I tried to see if anything changed if I merged clips. Pfft! Same thing.

I have a file with many audio tracks. Today for no reason that I can figure out Reason suddenly stopped playing a lot of them. At least up to a certain point in the song. Then all but one of them will play. I checked all my automation and clip levels and everything. It happened rather spontaneously....

Aha! Nevermind. It took some digging, but I figured it out. Had to find this page.

It seems that Reason 9 won't open for me without an internet connection. With previous versions my Balance interface worked as a hardware key. Is there any way I can get that working again? There's no internet at my band's studio.

Not sure what steps I took, but I finally managed to get the Windows "Balance In Properties" to be 24/48. So everything is in Windows is now Balance 24/48 across the board.

But, alas, the problem persists.
