Hi all This is to summarise everything ive done prior to an earlier post. Can anyone please shed light on this? All of a sudden I was getting random glitches, pops crackles on my desktop PC in R12, even when running something really light say 2 devices (Dr OctoRex and Subtractor) The glitches were n...

Audio crackling/pop
Help- being driven slowly mad Over the last 2 days I’ve had an issue with audio pops /crackles in Reason on my main PC (desktop) It doesn’t happen immediately and is not constant but every 6-7 secs or so - enough to be a put off. However any other audio (iTunes, You tube etc) no crackles at all What...

Re: Combinator Confusion
When I delete the switches and add t(e rotaries and save the patch - you have to manually remote override the 4 rotaries added each time

Combinator Confusion
Hi all I tried (and miserably failed) to create my own combinator device and map it to my Nektar LX25+ (which has 8 rotaries) So I created my device and chose combine. By default the 4 rotaries and 4 switches on the combinator 2 are mapped to the rotaries 1-8 on my Nektar. So far so good, however on...

Re: Matrix / RE question
Hi
Thanks for the responses. Doesn’t the Euclidean player - follow an algorithm based on number of steps and tries to evenly space them out as much as possible - or is their a random mode?
Cheers

Matrix / RE question
Hi all I’ve recently been having a very basic set up and controlling via MIDI I have a synth (generally a subtractor) and a matrix attached to it - but crucially only the gate cv. I randomise the matrix pattern to get a randomised gate pattern on the matrix - and then change parameters live with a M...

Re: Nektar LX25+ issue - Reason 12
Thanks for replying. I thought the 1st pot was automatically mapped to osc 1 waveform but when i turn it, it changes the osc2 waveform instead.
When I went to Edit Remote override it has the image I posted, where it seems mapped to the Retouch instead

When you do this, are they remotable for the current session only or is there a way of making the controller always control the Drum Sequencer?
Cheers

Nektar LX25+ issue - Reason 12
Hi all Ive just purchased a Nektar Impact LX 25+ for using in Reason 12 and in the main it works as expected, but have hit upon an issue. I also have a Push 2 and the Retouch Control Pusher 2 software. - which may be causing a conflict (the device was not on) I was trying to start basic and threw a ...

Re: Easiest way to do this in R12
Maybe I’m thinking about it all wrong then Is the idea to record all automation and then output as audio file I would like the session to capture all changes I make via midi controller incl mute/solo channels/pattern changes whilst I do it live. So do I just arm all 3 tracks for automation and noodl...

Re: Easiest way to do this in R12
Maybe I haven’t explained it very well.
I basically want to record the audio live but also be able to retain the ability to change parameters in real time on the midi controller. Currently as soon as I move focus away from the audio track it doesn’t record the audio anymore

Easiest way to do this in R12
Hi all What is the easiest way to achieve this in reason 12? What I’m wanting to do is record my simple 3 track session live. So I have 1 track with a Dr Octorex playing drums, 1 track with a Pad sound being played by PolyStep sequencer and a 3rd track with a synth(subtractor+matrix) I have mapped 4...

Polystep Sequencer Question
Hi Am I missing something obvious but is there no copy/paste for the Polystep sequencer for entering notes. I know i can copy variations/patterns, however say I want the pattern to go C4 (step 1) F3 (step 2) C4 (step 3) etc and repeat that for all 16 steps, do I have to enter them all by hand or can...

Cheers Billy - that worked a treat. Is this the way you always have to open VST presets? Do you always have to save them via the wrapper and only after that can use drag n drop?

Reason 12 or RE?
Hi Can anyone help with this please. Is there a way to do this in R12 or a particular RE What I’d like is to ‘program chords’ to a particular key (as in MIDI key on my controller) So for instance say I wanted to play the progression. (This may not be musically correct) C - Am9 - Fsus2 - G7 I would w...
