I haven't use them any of the new instruments included in Reason 10, but for the users that have used them, are they good enough or Thor MKII and Malstrom MKII was a a better idea?

I think this subscription model is good. I have so many RE that I don't use and I can't Re-sale them. But the users have to be aware of projects with Rent RE, because if you stop rent them and you have a project with them, the RE won't be available.

I think, if the VST developers make a version with a fixed dimension specially for reason can be good. They just have to change the source code to a size the fix the rack (wide) and PH can make a new device (like a combinator) to hold those VSTs that meet the size requirements.

In the upgrade there is not standard upgrade, so it just don't upgrade.
