Re: Using key commands F6/F7 and mixer views
F5, F6, F7 are the keys for mixer, rack, sequencer. They are essential when working with Reason on a single screen. F8 is the tool window which quite a few overlook and then complain about missing features in the sequencer.

Even better to use individual email addresses and passwords for each site. If you include the domain name of the site in the mail address you can even see who got breached or leaked your data.

You could also subscribe to Reason+ for a month or two to get the project finished and then export everything from the project as audio/midi files.

Pretty much anything with PCI express interface and 4+ GB video RAM should work out OK. Even most modern on-board GPUs should be OK.

Re: Ekssperimental Sounds: TAPEFUNK M10 RE released
The bad is that there's some sort of latency happening and it's not reported to the reason mixer. For my purposes, this makes the device a no for me, and I am truly bummed to the hills and back about it. ... I really hope the developer takes this seriously and fixes it, and I'd be all over this one...

Why not use a MIDI or typist transcription foot pedal and map it to the tap tempo button in Reason?

Re: Amigo Vst - Drag n Drop Sample not working
If those samples are part of a Refill (like the factory sound bank) this has never worked afair as reason does not extract the sample to a temporary location from where it could give a link to the VST to. I'm not sure if it works with samples that are outside of Refills on the other hand, but I supp...

Re: What do you think re control room in Reason?
The video thumbnail is typical click bait. So I did not watch it, yet. But my preferred setup is like this: Control Room out --> spider audio splitter --> AB-switch (with mix out) --> (Masteriing FX) --> Hardware interface --> sampling input That way I can easily switch between both and also sample ...

Yes, you have to install a MIDI loopback driver like https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html

To me "audio file reference" seems to be just a fancy way of not saying "sample"._andreypetr_ wrote: ↑24 Mar 2024It's not using samples. As developer said, everything we hear is synthesized with audio file reference.

Re: Has it ever been shared why they focused on just the rack vs. the full DAW?
And to this very day I just can't help wonder... does anyone know why they chose to focus on just the rack for their plugin instead of providing the full DAW? Or at the very least not having added a sequencer of some kind? I suppose it's just because it's much easier to do just the Rack than the wh...

I think it should be possible to do this without all that MIDI codec/routing and instead using a bunch of CVPT REs.

Re: Reason's export max audio resolution
Experts agree that having additional high frequency content in audio files that are meant to be played back can lead to degraded quality due to bad DAC filters. So, why do you think you need more then 192kHz/24bit or even 48kHz/24bit? EDIT: Some experts prefer if their (amateur) clients export the a...

As for the built in delay compensation in Reason this part of the manual might also give an idea what's happening there: http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason12/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=PDC.18.2.html Some very noticeable visual lag might even be an case where contacting support could be...

For Transitions I usually just paint over the parts of the Block that need changes in the sequencer in song mode. But I agree that having a copy block and paste block option in the edit menu would be nice. Still ctrl+a +c, then going into the new block and pressing ctrl+v is not that bad for a thing...

Re: Having a ball with reason 12 - workarounds for a couple things?
You could try to turn off "Render audio using audio card buffer size setting" and see if it changes the visual delay. Also have a look at these pages: http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason12/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=Audio%20basics.04.4.html http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason12/wwhelp/...
