it is realy ineffective to stop coding to read some mails, if you are in the flow...
i would do it the same way. coding extreme in blocks. and when a block is ready, do a break and have a look what happens in the meantime (mails etc.)

The same here. Really liked both synths (specially Driver) but i didn't buy because of it... My two first criterias when i trial RE are latency (now only buy 0 latency RE) and cpu usage. The RE format is not good about the cpu needed compared to the other formats for the same (or better) results We...

but if the croud-founded RE is for free, there would be no need for free licenses...
or just sell it for 9$/€ and put this money in the pot for the next crowdfounding project
