IMHO the Rack Plugin is a great move. - Ableton sell a rack thing for Max - Bitwig added a rack module - VCVRack reached version 1.0 - KiloHearts is really similar to the Rack Plugin (500€ for the ultimate and it's not even a DAW ;) ). - BTW really well made.
