In quick tests I get the following latency on my in-built sound card (Mac) with a sample buffer size of 64:
- 24ms (midi)
- 32ms (for audio)

Yeah happy overall. There are a variety of possibilities in terms of sync. Overbridge is pretty good though - some latency but that is to be expected

Try to simplify things to identify if and where the problem lies - turn off/minimise notes, cc's etc.

It is never smooth sailing in my experience when it comes to midi sync. Lots of trial and error.

Do you have a midi monitor program to check what midi is being received to the computer?
Typically you lose control of the transport when running as a midi slave - is transport being activated when you start the keystep?

Do you have the keystep setup as the Midi Clock Sync Input in the Preferences/Sync Settings?

Accurate naming of parameters would be a significant improvement.

Ahh ok I misread Reason 11 Suite for live 10 (I thought suite). Personally I head back into reason for this level of remote control or make use of the combinator. Having m4l definitely opens up the options available but is not ideal. I have a push that also streamlines the whole process.

One workaround method is to use a Max device - https://maxforlive.com/library/device/2888/manual-midi-mapper. With this device you can map your standard midi mappings (not overrides) to Reason parameters. You can have multiple instances so you are not limited in the number of parameters you can map....
