Re: Announcing Reason 13
Mhhh, but why? Do they want us to leave the ship to get rid of their long time DAW users?? :puf_unhappy: No, I don't think so. They need every Penny, but I can imagine that it's hard without all these brilliant people from the Propellerheads days. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but I can't see any kind o...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I couldn't care less about the library organizer. But I hope I can record more than one MIDI track at a time. I do not think that is a big ask. So, based on all the information published so far, it looks very much as if there really isn't a single sequencer update / new feature at all . :exclamatio...

Re: Midi implementation Charts RS RE‘s ?
The Remote Info is not helpful, I need CC numbers. Most of them are equal, for example Volume is #7 etc.,
but just with the old Reason devices. On newer ones, like Monotone, it seems is totally different.

Re: Midi implementation Charts RS RE‘s ?
Thanks, but what I need is the CC# numbers for the controls, like cutoff = 74 etc. For the essential Reason Instruments I found it, but not for all these RE‘s from RS.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
The Reason Rack is still the most important thing for Reasonstudios ( and seriously, it was always) Reason 13 is showing that again. OK, the sequencer is better organised now, but I can‘t find any new functions. They put all these single windows into one and thats good, but nothing what many expecte...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
I was a Reason user since V 1.0. I used and loved Reason alot over 20 years. It was always so well produced/written software. Alone these fantastic Refills over the years were made with so much love for every detail, anybody who own one of the boxed versions will know what I mean. Unfortunately thes...

I'm still on 12.5 and wanna do the upgrade to 12.6. Is it right that I have to reinstall every single RE from RS ? Thats what popped up, after I run through the installationprocess, "syncronize all" on the RS homepage . I have every single RE from RS and that takes a lot of time ... Only if you wer...

Re: Latest Roadmap (June 3 2022)
There are still a ton of GUI problems to solve. These are only two of them (latest version of R12) and I have it on my Apple M1 and my Windows PC. Please RS , before you guys working on new things, solve this !

Re: Reason 12 with VST3 Beta has arrived
I hope RS don't forget all these little GUI problems, still there in so many places. Transport section, RE's like Umpf etc., browser icons and so on ... nothing big, but still very annoying :( Even if R13 is really RRP only, I want a perfect finished R12 DAW , because I have to work with it for the...

Re: Algoritm produce artifacts
Now I'm sitting with my office computer(windows) and thought, let's reproduce this with the inbuild DX driver. I'm very surprized that I can't ! I'm mean the latency is just usable for playbacks (4096 or so), but no clicking, even with the lowest attack settings. My expectation was completely vice v...

Re: Algoritm produce artifacts
Yes, sounds like that. Some kind of clicking and it's with many factory/original patches. It's not a nice or wanted sound, not for me. I can't reproduce that with Subtractor for example. Subtractor's fastest attack measures around 1.5 ms, which is similar to the smooth sounding default of Algoritm ...

Re: Algoritm produce artifacts
Could simply be a slight waveform discontinuity at the start, which is smoothed with a slightly slower attack time? Many Reason synths have attack default to just a tiny bit slower than their fastest setting, to avoid unwanted clicks. Sometimes you want that click at the front, most of the time you...

Algoritm produce artifacts
Did someone have the same problem ? With very short attack times , Algoritm produce artifacts, kinda sound like distortion or cracle. When I increase the attack curve/time just a little bit , it's gone. I changed my latency settings, but nothing changed. I'm on a Mac mini M1. Got anybody an idea ?

Re: Reason 12.2.9 Release Notes
I'm on a M1 Mac mini and I must correct my first enthusiastic impressions. The performance is bad. I mean, real bad. Its simply not possible playing sample based patches without artifacts. I used every possible settings in the audio preferences window, not good . The version before has not that pro...
