Re: In search for the perfect Drum Machine

have you checked out Emergent Drums? https://audialab.com/

I know the price is high, but i think it has the functionalities you are looking for. It leans more towards electronic music, not physical modeling and is very fast and intuitive to use, especially for percussion.

Re: Favorite REs released in 2020?

I was really happy to see innovative ideas grow into players this year. I think i got all of them. Then Friktion, Speo's new synth for sure. Also the blamsoft, red rock and forgotten klank devices work really well for mixing. Ekssperimental synths and FX. We did not have quantities like previous yea...

Re: Tribute Wavetable Synthesizer by Speo Music now in the shop!

I really like the new synth. Soundwise and workflow wise the envelopes are very handy. I can also work with the mod window, once I got the hang of it. The only point that was a very minor setback was the workaround in order to have sustain. I honestly think that an optional sustain point on the env...

Re: Have Softube raised the price of FET?

Their VST all included bundle was at a serious discount on black friday. Other than that, most of the time prices are quite high. However, they do make quality stuff, admittedly.

Re: Forgotten Waveshaper 2 is now available!

Big thank you for this device! many constructive and destructive uses, as well as ways to tame it. The compressor function and global dry/wet plus gate really help nail the portion :-) I had only the remains of my evening to play with it. Tomorrow I will use it on long reverb tails as a first idea

Re: Delta MIDI Computer (Introductory Sale!)

This device needs some time to delve deep into. For a start I made a "human" strumming preset i am very happy with and played around with the "if" outputs to introduce delays and extra notes for variation. The concept is strong, the functions are just right and this is a very efficient and versatile...

All design tools are very welcome, maybe a lowpass filter with a gentle slope to even the high end a bit, if wanted.

Re: Reason Drum Kits RE in the shop!

Would be really nice to do something similar with percussion samples too. Also to allow usage of own samples (like a built in NNXT with extra fx modules). This package as well as the UMPFs have pieces of the functionality we would like all in one: Layers like kong with own modules for fx, ADSR editi...

Re: Classic American EQ by Red Rock Sound

I really appreciate the presets per instrument that come along with this neat package. Very nice sounding EQs, quick and easy to use Will they be included in the Launchbox as modules? Will there be new modules for the Launchbox? It is a very nice idea for a device, it would benefit from more compres...

Re: Sugar-Q Sweetening Equalizer in the shop!

Indeed a sweetener. Like in the demo, first decide on the lo cut then put max gain settings and play with the frequencies until you find a sweet spot, back down the gain, set. Same with the high end. Quick and rewarding results.

Both REs from this company very handy

Re: Resonans 1.1 is in the shop!

Just to say that the new mod sounds great. I am modifying patches I had made with some vibraphone or percussive samples as a basis, changing only the module to the new FM (default settings) and I am getting great, lively synth tones with a synthwav-y aesthetic. The extra mod slots are very welcome a...

Re: MCDSP ChannelStrip Deal 70% off

This all in one strip and futzbox are in my opinion their best products. Low on CPU, with meticulous work you can achieve a great tight sound (gainstaging matters). All the bases of comp, gate and eq are covered, even a bit of saturation and distortion. All McDSP stuff are great, the problem is the ...

The zero point in GUI are the airwindows vst plugins.
