Oh, hm, the D16 Sigmund thing might not be a Reason bug. It also crashes Ableton. Might be a Big Sur thing.

Hm, doesn't fix the VST problems I noticed. D16 Sigmund completely crashes Reason the second I click on anything in it. The Dragonfly reverbs cause the screen to start flashing weird colors when I change anything, and can only be fixed by restarting Reason. On MacOS 11.6.

Are the effects per voice, or global after the voices are summed?

Really do wish Reason had something like the "External Audio Effect" that Ableton does. Yes, you can do it by flipping the rack around, but it is so much easier in Ableton, which really encourages experimentation.

One of the sounds in one of the sound packs is literally just an ID8 device in a combinator with two combinator knobs assigned to control the two ID8 knobs, lol.

Just what everyone predicted. Seems disappointing for anyone who already has Reason Suite. Cool it reset my trial for Friktion, though.

I mean I could be convinced this is the authentically reproduced behavior of the original, vintage hardware pitch-shifting units being emulated.

I have both shifters turned on, and set to identical shift and fine settings. One panned hard left, one panned hard right. As expected sending a mono signal into it produces a signal with zero stereo width, since both shifters are set identically. Now, change the shift or fine control on one of them...
