Re: Reason Drumkits RE with Nektar T4 issue. (Confirmed)

Hi there, This issue is due to a 'DRUM' tag our auto-scripting tool added. The issue has been addressed and will make it into the next update. Thanks for catching this. If you are happy editing remote map scopes, the quick fix for users that experience this is to text search in panorama2.remotemap f...

Re: Nektar Panorama [UPDATE]... NEW PANORAMA T4/T6 line!

Posted these videos in another thread and realized that Nektarine seems to go against the very selling point of the Panorama P series. Granted it seems the T series will map to plugins in certain DAWs withought Nektarine but it does seem like a very backwards move. I expected to see this observatio...

Re: Maschine MK2 or Ableton Push

You can control Redrum's step sequencer using the Fader buttons of your P4 if you have installed the latest P4 Reason integration. There are 16 steps available. the other steps are not mappable via remote unfortunately.

The advantage here is you don't have to worry about sync at all.

Re: Nektar Panorama update with VST control and Reason 10 support!

Hi Emian,

Update 1.7.0 is for Panormaa owners and fixes a problem with menu navigation on legacy devices.

There is no update to the old LX installer planned. However if you contact support we'll look at getting you the LX+ files which will provide the VST support for you.

Re: Nektar Panorama update with VST control and Reason 10 support!

Thats fine, it's good to hear opinions and it's impossible to please everyone, particularly when there's so much work involved in mapping individual instruments. Grab is unlike remote override in that: 1. You can map several parameters in one go so it's much quicker. 2. Grab is remembered per rack d...

Re: Nektar Panorama update with VST control and Reason 10 support!

As Carly states Europa and Grain mapping is slimmed out 'by design'. We cover the most important params in the maps avoiding the need for menu diving. The GRAB feature allows access to any parameter on Europa or Grain, with the additional advantage that you can 'mix up' parameters on the same page. ...

There's an update in the next few days that will fix the problem with older device mapping. Sorry for braking that it's due to a typo in the Lua code.

Re: Nektar Panorama update with VST control and Reason 10 support!

Please send exported device remote infos for any VSTs that are not working (particularly if they are meant to work!) to support. It's not possible for the codecs to determine if an incoming parameter value caused by mouse movement, or automation, so yes it makes sense to grab parameters without the ...

Re: Nektar Panorama update with VST control and Reason 10 support!

If parameters are grabbed in error, you can clear grab on the target device by pressing shift on panorama twice in quick succession. Like a double click with the mouse

Re: Nektar Panorama update with VST control and Reason 10 support!

Hi all, thanks for continuing to support Nektar! To answer the question regarding GRAB, it's not possible to use GRAB with unmapped VSTs. Unfortunately a VST must appear in the scopes to get any form of control from Panorama/Impact at all. This is something I hope will change in the remote technolog...

Re: Mine Modular MIDI Controller

I also struggle finding the perfect controller. I don´t like paging or banks of controls. This is why I came up with 'grab' on Nektar controllers - it is a way to instantly control the parameter you are looking at on the screen without menu-diving. Using Grab you can take control of any parameter o...

Re: Overview of Remote Codecs supported by Reason 9 out of the box

Here's a little more info regarding the Nektar Panorama series (don't forget the Impact LX+ series too!). It is an active decision by Nektar not to provide the codecs to PH for native support. Lack of native support should not be seen as a disadvantage in any way. It allows us to maintain our codecs...

Re: Nektar P1 ReDrum support? Please Help

Yes there is a difference. Ofcourse the P4/P6 has pads. When you play the pad, the knobs automatically map to modify the current sample on the struck pad. You can select the drum without triggering a sound using the buttons beneath the faders. On the P1, there are no pads so the buttons beneath the ...

Yes, it would be great to add this pad technology to Panorama, but it's not so easy unfortunately. Sorry I can't any say more at this time, but suffice to say Panorama remains a priority for us.

Re: Nektar Impact LX49+ controlling Reason 9

Glad you got sorted. The Mixer mode bank starts at the remote base channel - the yellow triangle in Reason. You can control this with SHIFT+button 1 or 2 (bank down/up). The pads lock to Kong when on the selected track and you can bank between the top and bottom rows by holding SHIFT and hitting pad...
