I'm not sure I have the patience to use leveler in it's "designed" form, but seems to me that for drums you can just boost the curve, maybe adjust the recovery to a bit slower, and instant improvement with the benefit of "leveling"

Accurate or lame? 

Being a fairly remedial drum programmer, it's quite possible to find a nice groove and build around it, including being able to extract a groove from it and then roll your own.


Seems like a powerful tool to me.

Well, from a "new" persons perspective, I really like 8.1. I like the browser, and I do think that there are many aspects that are kinda strange, but for me, it fits the bill. (long-time wait)

There is a video floating around about using it for electric guitars (waves maybe? ) so it's a doable thing. When I was looking into it the deEssers I tried didn't seem to do the same job.

Because when you put work into something, you should get credit. The beauty of this is fantastic collab options. But as clearly stated, you can upload something and someone could just take the whole thing and run away with it. 

Hmmmmmm. I'm all for better "sound" but CD's have always sounded "best" to me. (and I'm older than dirt) DVD's is some way are even better. Very polished. It's Neil Young. Long story short he proclaimed that when they did CD's they got the algorithms wrong. He "invented" pono that is just another mp3 player that allegedly sounds better.
