Fantastic news. It's always exciting to see/hear a new amp from Kuassa.
Between Kuassa and Turn2On, guitarists are remarkably well catered for in Reason: a fact that I don't think gets pushed enough amidst the endless sea of electronica and trap tutorials.

Re: They seem to really need the money: REASON 12 UPGRADE 60% OFF
It’s a cheap path because you buy it now for $70 then register it during the grace period when R13 is announced. Ahhh... Clever. I hadn't realised the grace period was from 'registration', rather than 'date of purchase', but if it is as you say, this would be a great pooprtunity for anyone who's no...

Re: They seem to really need the money: REASON 12 UPGRADE 60% OFF
$70.31 on JRRShop with code FORUM at checkout. That's - £56.95 in British money. Pretty cheap but not sure it's worth it for the updated graphics and Combinator and a browser that searches as you type but I could open the Reaper projects that use the Reason 12 RRP that I saved when doin...

Re: They seem to really need the money: REASON 12 UPGRADE 60% OFF
It's a superb deal. Why the animosity? I bought it not long after launch, just before the price rise (for about 100 quid, I think - thanks to that 'Forum' code at JRRShop), so I'm not going to begrudge someone getting a bargain now. I genuinely think we've reached the stage where people will argue a...

Re: Kilohearts - Lots of RE for FREE
This is a tremendously generous gesture by Kilohearts. I was a big fan of the KHS-One. A lovely, rich subtractive synth. (Not sure if that's included in the list of freebies for people who haven't already bought it, but if it is, then you should definitely grab it.)

Amazing. MrFigg strikes again!!! Suddenly something that nobody was even bothered about has become the highlight (or lowlight) of our day.
I hope you're proud of yourself!

Re: New RE Photon Particle Splitter by LoveOne
It's really nice on vocals, if you want something a bit 'out there' and experimental. I honestly didn't think I'd need this, because it seems to cover similar ground to JP's Animus, but it's arguably easier to rein in. Both are splendid, but the fact that you can make it more subtle and transparent ...

Sigh....
February: ''I don't need any more reverb plug-ins. I already have at least 15 really good ones. Anything else would be overkill.''
Three reverbs later: ''OK, maybe just one more. But this is a shimmery, granular one, so it's different.''

Ahhh, damn it. Now you've made me go back to the X-705 and I've fallen in love with its freaky sci-fi charms all over again.
Bang goes another night's sleep.

Re: Comparing Jiggery Pokery Organs (Compact, Continental, 310, B3, X-705, Ch Supernova)
Right I love my Continental and my Compact. I really do. I’ve got the Gforce RE-Strings. I’ve got the IKMultimedia B3. With all that in mind can anyone sell me on the x-705 and the 310? And obviously I used up my trials a long time ago. I really like the 310. I remember being absolutely blown away ...

Re: SONONICS IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!
Really sad news. Revival was the very first RE instrument I bought, way back in 2014. (I think I may have bought Polar a few days earlier, but that's an effect, so it doesn't count.) Revival had (and still has) a real, organic grit which stands up beautifully all these years later. It's perhaps not ...

Re: Is Quad Note Generator Shit or is it just me?
I find it incredibly frustrating. I haven't used it for a very long time, and never managed to get anything I really liked out of it. Any potential it has for generating something musically 'useful' (ie. something which goes beyond random electronic bleeps, farts and bibbles) seems to be trapped beh...

Oh, Mr Figg - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. These things are never easy. I hope you're able to spend some quality time with him while you still can. It will mean the world to both of you. I've been there, and however stoic you are, there's really no way to prepare for this stuff. You've truly...

Sorry about this, I know some of you expressed delight at having something to do this week, so I apologise unreservedly to those guys - there was really nothing could be done about this. Well, that's just not good enough, Brian! I'm almost over the Covid now (thank God), so I'm hoping to vent...

Re: confused by 333 subscription offer?
Well, this really is a headscratcher. I went for it (to see what would happen), expecting the code to be rejected because I've already had two trials of R+. I'm a 'perpetual' owner of R12, so my only interest in R+ is for the Bassline Generator which I haven't got around to buying yet, so £1 x three...

Congrats to all the winners, and huge respect to the organisers of this fantastic giveaway. (Naturally I didn't win anything, but hey - I already own a bunch of great REs from Turn2On, and have had my attention drawn to a couple that I'd missed, so it's all good.) Happy New Year to the Turn2On crew,...

Re: Covid Shot and Reason
Yeah you gotta move your arm around to avoid soreness. I got my booster and flu shot at the same time, one in each arm. And unlike the first shots I got which left me with a sore arm, I focused on moving my arms and had no pain in either arm after doing that. Hang on a moment... Are you supposed to...

Re: RS Bassline Generator Sneak Peak
Nah. It feels more Euclidean. This becomes obvious if you pare it right down to the simplest settings (ie. pattern 1 for both offbeat and onbeat). I like it. As blasphemous as it may sound, I never really used Matrix for anything much, apart from some experiments with skittering hi-hats. I am now go...

Re: Bassline Generator is Here... Check Your Companion...
I'm really enjoying this. As a guitarist/bassist first and foremost, I thought it would be something I may not find much use for, but it's great for throwing up unusual ideas and starting points for improvising on top of. I especially like the fact that it's not really designed for the kind of music...
