Re: how to find out what audio files used in a song
I miss that option too. I solved it that I copy the file name, create a label for the sample (right click on it / Add label to clip) and paste the name in. At least I can then search for this specific file name. If you have tons of samples you can add folder or disk name to it also for faster browse...

Ha,ha, you're not that old mate I remember Sinclair ZX 81 without any sound
Thanks for your opinion. I like the sentence: ¨...it's as complicated as you need it to be¨. Because it's exactly what Reason is. So far I lean most to Cubase Pro 8.

Re: Cubase 8 Pro or PreSonus Studio One 3 as secondary DAW?
Thanks for your comments guys. I also like Studio One most so far. Scratch pad, Melodyne... nice. Though Cubase 8 is a high class DAW but looks kind of complicated to me. But it has chord progression pads - nice tool also. But Reason has the best workflow ever. In other discussion group everybody pr...

Cubase 8 Pro or PreSonus Studio One 3 as secondary DAW?
Hi guys. I need your advice: Though I love Reason and it will always remain my major DAW I'm forced to buy another DAW. I need it to rewire it to Cognitone Synfire which is impossible to do with Reason. Thinking about Cubase 8 Pro or PreSonus Studio One 3. Which one would you think is better? What D...

Re: All Reason tutorials for controlling & recording external plugins and hardware
Thank you guys for the contribution here! Nice thread. Has anyone found the way to wire Reason to Cognitone Synfire? What I need is to bring e.g. vocals to Synfire for furter composition building. Synfire uses ¨drones¨ for this but for Reason it doesn't work, of course. Any idea (if it's actually po...

Have you performed system changes?
If you have authorized your computer for offline use, and are planning to:
- Reinstall your operating system or perform a system restore
- Move or replace hardware components in your computer.

Also you can try another web browser. And check what version of the Authorizer application you are running. It should be 2.8

Do you use F-secure antivirus? Because there are known issues in conjunction with Reason. If so, try to disable it.

Where to put Ozone Maximizer exactly
Here's the rear view: https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.websitetoolbox.com/177147/2320928 First, the signal goes to Quadelectra Stereo splitter where it's splitted to Mid and Side. Both signals then go through D.Cam Bus Compressors into 6:2 Line mixer. From there it's routed to Real time spectrum an...

Where to put Ozone Maximizer exactly
I made my own Mid-Side / Ozone / Two Compressors / Dynamic driver / Dynamic EQ / Spectrum analyzer / Loudness meter patch and inserted it into Master section:
Works well for me.

BTW, have you tried to log in to you PH account at their website, clicked on Products / Rack extensions / and then SYNC ALL?

And even without using after software I get sound without clipping, it's just not that dynamic and not that loud. But it's pretty close.

Yes,it is. But after I export whole song. Not when mixing. I can never get that good sound just by using Reason. Perhaps there's a way but it's much more simple to use extra software. I know there are professional mastering effect for Reason but their price is many times bigger than Reason itself. O...

Here you can see it when playing. Even though some channels are reaching 0 db, the new output buss is still holding the volume around - 10db. https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.websitetoolbox.com/177147/2299431 That's only because you lowered the level of the bus - nothing to do with panning. In fact...

My main R9 wants:
Nice wishes guys. I agree with the most written here. Just small things to change that really annoy me now: Why the h*ll is the Gain knob so high in SSL mixer? Could be close to slider where the channel level meter is so I can see directly the volume and don't have to scroll up and down. The same f...
