Re: Trouble loading Helix Native
You could try and uninstall version 3.51 and install a previous version to see if that works. The vst2 version of helix native works fine aswell. I think you have to specify in the installer that you want it. Have you tried it in Garageband or Logic to see if the audio unit works? Rosetta is working...

Re: Trouble loading Helix Native
I had trouble with Helix Native 3.50 crashing on my M1 mac, osx Monterey but the Line 6 Helix Native 3.51 sorted everything out.
Line 6 denied the problem had anything to do with them but the update solved the problem.

Re: Multi core audio rendering with M1
No multi-core or hyperthreading ticked for me on my mac mini M1. I was getting too many stutters and clicks.
Much better performance without them.

Re: Allen & Heath Zed R16 transport controls
Yes I can get it to do that fine, it's just the actual transport controls (play, stop, record etc} that I can't get to work. I think they send MMC whatever that is. Cheers anyway

Allen & Heath Zed R16 transport controls
Anyone use one of these?
I can get the midi to work on the faders and pots but I can't get the transport buttons to work. Any ideas?

Re: Independent Looping
If i would do it, i would probably go with the 1tiedstep Matrix solution as it works with both NNXT and DR Rex, is completely length independant and the trigger doesnt need to be placed before the loop (though i am not sure if that is still needed with the release option). You can even mess with th...

The Global Controls release at the top of the NNXT lets you play much longer samples. I've just played a 12 min sample just fine.

Re: Independent Looping
There's no way of doing this in Reason. Both the Rex player and NNXT are locked to the sequencer and are affected by loop points so audio will not play straight through. I believe only Ableton and maybe Bitwig can have loops independent of the sequencer. Even if the note on lies outside the loop? E...

Re: Independent Looping
That is a brilliant work around.electrofux wrote: ↑20 Oct 2017You could trigger the long audio from an NNXT. The trig just needs to be before the loop start and the audio needs to be synced beforehand with the right tempo.
Maybe the Rex Player in Kong behaves differently.

Edit modes for audio clips
Are there any shortcuts to choose any of the three edit modes (slice, pitch or comp) when working with an audio clip? I couldn't find any in the manual but I might have been looking in the wrong place. I'm just trying to use my mouse less and having three separate shortcuts would be really useful.

Re: Click track to balance headphones
If you are on a mac you can create an Aggregate Device in Audio MIDI Setup. Choose Balance for 2 in and 2 out and choose Built in Output for the extra output from your mac. Then in Audio Preferences in Reason select Aggregate Device and you will now have an extra 2 outputs available. I think the mai...

Confused using Redrum in Rewire mode
If you create a Pattern/Loop lane for Redrum in the Reason sequencer you can place your drum pattern anywhere and it can start playing anywhere. You can shorten pattern/loop clips from the left or the right and leave spaces which will play silence (ie stop running). Is that of any use. You could als...

Tap tempo delay?
Is there any way of creating a tap tempo delay independent of the tap on the transport bar. I would like to tap a tempo rather than dialling in a tempo with the time knob or ms up/down curser. Mainly for on the fly live use.
