Yeah, that makes sense. Hopefully Reason will be rolled out as a M1 native version soon...

Re: (Electronic, Pop) New album Who Needs Privacy (all Reason)
Listening whilst working - my FAV so far is RELAX. But only half way through the album... verdict is open on FAV until I get to the end! Well done though on completing an album. No easy feat. Thanks, Relax is also one of my own favorites, but almost left it out because it's a bit of a genre differe...

Re: Selig Gain or Gain knob ssl duobt!!!!
The thing is, you can set levels and then shift/drag the Selig Gain to the next patch point and check levels there, moving "down stream" and making sure levels were consistent. You don't need multiple devices, you only need a few seconds for each point. Gee, I've been working with Reason since 1.0,...

Re: (Electronic, Pop) New album Who Needs Privacy (all Reason)
Ah, so no Spotify or Apple Music for you. Should be on any music streaming service by now. And, the album will be released on SoundCloud as well, if that's good for you. Somewhere in the coming weeks.

(Electronic, Pop) New album Who Needs Privacy (all Reason)
Big day for me, I've got a new album out: Who Needs Privacy. It's completely made with Reason and it has tracks going back to 2009 (Only Scum Need Privacy) and 2011 (Dreams). The others are from the last 4 years. It's nice (at least for me) to compare production decisions from 10 years ago and now. ...

Re: PSA for Mac Reason users: Hold off on updating to macOS 10.15 Catalina
Seems to be the running theme on OSX. Reason isn't the only DAW that's affected - there's a ton of others out there also having issues. I’ve always updated any macOS or OS X version in the past and it worked like a charm (or ran several macOS beta’s). Of course this is a bit anecdotal, but this is ...

Just tried it out and what I really liked was the ease of getting a track to Reason with Airdrop on a Mac. That's some great user experience!

Re: Anyone Update Mac OS to Mojave yet?
No audio in problem solved for me - thanks to fast reply from Propellerheads support! Go to MacOS settings -> Security & Privacy and from there the last tab (Privacy) Select Microphone - allow Reason to use microphone - problem solved! I would not have figured this out myself. For a moment I was a ...

Re: Anyone Update Mac OS to Mojave yet?
I updated yesterday. Now I'm not getting audio into the audio channel. I've been using Reason with my guitar for years so it's not something basic like forgetting to turn the monitor on in the sequencer. Synths and Reason instruments all work. I can get my guitar sound in Logic. Not in Reason or a ...

Nope, I love it and use it all the time. The flexible way I can change the sound in the mix makes it very useful.

(Electronic, Chill) Take Me Higher with Allihoopa Vocal experiment
So, this Allihoopa thing, never looked at it until this weekend, and I have to admit: it's pretty neat. I needed some inspiration for a test track for Reason 9.5. I searched for vocals and found this beautiful dreamy vocals of Beklynn Music, and was hooked right away. So the resulting track: https:/...

Re: Antares Harmony engine and Nektar 2
yeah, I was also looking for a good natural harmonizer, and faced the same problems selecting one. Too bad that 9.5 is not supporting VST3 and the midi cross over. And why isn't there a good RE Neptune alternative? For me this is also a major short coming, although with pitch edit I get better resul...

Good question, and I would like this kind of feature as well, also in the Pitch Edit view (for programming harmonies).

Re: How is the new Pitch Editor in R9?
Same here, used to work with the Melodyne loop, but switched entirely. The workflow is so much easier now! The quality is great (in my view) and the only thing I'm missing is the view where you can see other vocal parts as a reference. But that's not a big deal.

Re: Single monitor configuration
When working on a MacBook without a second monitor, I always use the full screen/multiple desktops feature (break out the mixer and/or device view and press the green circle). Then I can swipe between the views by using the three fingers move on the touch pad. Works like a charm for me. But most of ...
