Re: Using multiple track recording from mixer
Midas M32r first impressions after two days in my temp studio setup Midas equipment is exceptional. I've used the M32 & M32 Live in several FOH locations recently. They're both great in a live situation (library/scenes) DSP, etc. I'm probably too old school, and have and prefer analog EFX. I bought...

Re: Using multiple track recording from mixer
I recently got a Midas Venice F32, albeit what seems dated firewire, it can stream as many firewire audio channels bi-directionally as there are mixer channels. I also have a Soundcraft Signature 22MTK which has a 24-in 22-out USB interface. I saw and fell in love with the Behringer WING, oh my this...

Nektar Panorama P6...Disappointment
I remember why I sold the first Nektar Impact LX49+, yesterday I got inspired and decided to get a Panorama P6 for a price I couldn't pass up. Now I see why The guy I got it from said exactly what I said after the first venture. "this seamless integration is far from seamless and overly convoluted."...

Re: Uhbik RE Crossgrade Coming Soon
After Propellerhead announced VST support in Reason 9.5, a number of Uhbik Rack Extension customers asked whether they could switch to the VST version. In a few days we will send out an email to customers who own two or more Uhbik Rack Extensions. Included is a coupon discounting the price of the r...

Re: Hardware peeps: what keeps you using it?
Because nothing and I mean absolutely nothing sounds like my Rhodes 73 Mark II Stage Piano (customized dual output Lo&Hi) plugged into vintage Fender Bassman 70, or my Wurlitzer 112.

Re: MaschineR - anyone use it?
I've owned it and RetouchDuo for awhile (a few years) I've always had issues with it. The whole install process is a pain, the fact you're suppose to be able to use it hard wired and in all actuality you can't, WiFi has latency the I find unacceptable. Having to utilize third party components. I als...

Re: Studio One Raises The Bar Again: Feb 25
I can't get my head around S1 every time I decide to take it for a spin, I end up frustrated because it doesn't do what Reaper does so directly and easily. I personally find Reaper easier on the eye than S1, I get eye weary using S1 the Imperial Theme rocks (http://www.houseofwhitetie.com/reaper/imp...

Re: Lightweight DAW as VST host
Reaper...as already stated light CPU solid, stable, inexpensive.
Unlike what was posted earlier about "distain to work in it" and switching to Studio One, I'm the total opposite I prefer Reaper to S1.

Re: Electric Guitar Emulating Bass Query
I've had a U-Bass for about 3 years now once you get the strings stretched they stay in tune better than newer strings, but they're still finicky. I hold the strings between my thumb and index finger move it at the nut get as close to pitch that way then fine tune with the key. i see you're in Engla...
