Discover?
In your experience, do people act in their own best interest? Some do yes. The success rate of Alcoholics Anonymous is testimony to that for example. With certain self-esteeming information - that God loves them, that who they are is valuable, that they have worth, that what they do matters, that ...

Well email your best tracks to as many good labels as you like & you will be heard in due time! :) Hi George !! Actually 99% of labels won't even open the email - or snail mail for that matter. They are afraid they will get sued for copyright infringement down the road, so they just trash everything.

More or Less at Peace with Myself
After poking at Reason on and off for nearly seven years and still having no completed tracks — and not having that much time left in my life — I am coming to grips with the idea that "completed tunes" may never happen. Many, many hundreds of dollars later, I've often stared at all the music crap ...

First it was BS and now it's Butthurt, you seem really emotionally attached to Dr. Tyson. I'm sorry I offended you, but that's my opinion. There are plenty more examples of the good Dr. talking down to other academics, and no I'm not going to hunt down links for you. I was going to respond the fir...

Buzz is cool, Tyson is a tool. I've heard him disparage philosophers and medical doctors. Tyson is the used car salesmen of science. As someone whose mom and brother are both MDs, I've met a ton of them and I can assure you there are some idiotic MDs. There are good ones and bad ones, just like the...

Hi, anyone else had this? Reasontalk was spot on at the start and now the last few days it has been unreliable with timeouts.. I can post a topic or PM and I have learned to copy and paste everything I type so it is in memory as I don't know how many times i will need to do it before it works. I've...

Live music is getting outdated or is it just me?
@Selig Indeed, there's good and bad with every genre IMO. I worked in Nashville for many years and worked with some absolutely AMAZING players (including Tommy Emmanuel from the video above, on Chet Atkin's last album). Most of the best players you've probably never heard of because they are more be...

Live music is getting outdated or is it just me?
It's all about the experience and there are definitely good live performers and poorer live performers...I find the country genre to be the absolute worst live performances with pretend guitar playing running rampant even though I love country. When I was in high school I went to some tiny shows in...
