I watched the beat mapping video but it has like 15 steps.  I will just continue to use the Sony Acid Pro version until Propellerhead includes a beatmapping plugin/software.  Thanks for your help!   Hopefully, they take the hint and realize its a cool program/feature.

Do you know of the cheapest method?  It seems kind of silly to purchase logic or cubase solely for the beat mapping wizard.   I wonder if it comes with an entry level cubase or something?

Yea, I agree.  There are several non guitar playing REason users that don't benefit much from this upgrade.  I was just being nice because of all the nasty things I said though.   I single handedly feel responsible for the demise of ReasonForums.

I have an akai mpd24 and pad bank A,B, and C all work fine.  But, when I turn on pad bank D.  The buttons don't worked and aren't mapped correctly or something....

You can export REX loops from Reason. You just open a track, make sure the slices are in the right place. Right click, find the Bounce sub menu, pick Bounce Clip to REX Loop.
