Re: Selig "Surprise"

I guess this is an EQ. I hope with the cv an Note Inputs you are able to move the frequency of the EQ points with the played note progression. Can‘t await the release.

Re: Any performance degradation in Reason on pre-Haswell Windows machines with new MS patch?

I've got a PC with an i7 4770k and Win 8.1. I've installed the update yesterday. I was working on a project which was already struggeling befor the update. Now, after the upgrade it was pushed over the fence and stopps every two or three seconds. I didn't do proper benchmarking, but I would guess, t...

Europa phase

Is it possible to adjust the starting point of the phase of the Europa oscillators? I haven't found a solution for this. There is no modifiere for the phase like in Expanse. The only workaround seems to be to draw your own oscillator curve with the right phase starting point. would be great, if Prop...

Re: eXpanse 3.0 is out!

I was thinking about expanse and it’s crazy updates, is there anything left to be added to such a powerhouse? Only thing I could think of is if the effect section had some of the parameters of vk2s the phaser especially, also a drive for the filter would be cool but they hit it out of the park as i...

Is it possible to change the star logo of your individual favorit folders to a custom logo, for example to a refill or RE logo?

It would be nice if you could change the quality on the back of Europa to high, like with Expanse.

Re: Europa Shapeshifting Synthesizer (Tread)

Europa looks very interesting and I am very happy that it is the first Propellerhead synth with unison. In the video it seemed that the detuning of the unison doesn't goes that far. I wish it would be possible to detune it a bit more. And the detune is only linear, I would like if Propellerhead woul...

Re: Pianoteq 6 Released

Yes, befor Reason 9.5 came out my biggest problem was, that there was no good piano. After Reason 9.5 was released one of the first things I bought was Pianoteq 5 and the search for good piano libraries was over. Yesterday I've updated to Pianoteq 6 and it is free for one year after the purchase, ve...

Re: Novation Ultra/MiniNova VST Editor does it work?

I would be interested in this as well. I've heard somewhere that the virus ti control works with reason, but only for one midi channel. Maybe then it works as well for the novation, which is monophonic, right?

Re: Combinator - why does it consume CPU?

In my opinion it is a better workflow to put all effects in the insert of the mixerchannel. This saves CPU and you can open the fx very fast from the ssl mixer. Isn't the mixer channel just a combinator? Yes, that is my point, because you've got a mixer channel for every instrument already. In most...

The SSL EQ is my goto EQ because you can open it with F3 very easy. But it needs adjustable slopes for the low and high cut filters.

Apparently there is going to be a huge new era for RE's coming up soon that's, as I was specifically told by a rather prominent ReFill developer, will be taking over the entire industry. There's a certain ReFill developer who says he has info about the format that he isn't at liberty to divulge, bu...

Re: Replacing stereo imager for better splitting

For me the free Elements Splitter from AirRaid is the best solution because you can split in three bands with one device and it has an option to switch between 12db and 24db filter slopes. And what is most importend, it passes the null test (which yoko doen't). Good option , so what about if more b...

Yes, TruePianos is nice as well. After Reason 9.5 supported VST's the first thing I did was testing some Pianos especially TruePianos and Pianoteq 5 . At the end I bought Pianoteq 5 because it sounds better in comparison to TruePianos and it is still developed. I've heard about Pianoteq 5, but neve...

Re: Reason Pianos vs VST's

I would recommend TruePianos. It's usually 120 USD, but sometimes on sale for 95 USD. It's a really great sounding hybrid piano, which combines physical modeling synthesis and samples. The piano consists of five modules, The downside is that it hasn't been developed in 5 years or so, but it's still...
