i jusy moved from mac to a pc and have noticed that when i open reason companion to hear some packs it wont play, but when i go into reason everything plays fine. ive check my sound and its connected to my interface. any ideas?

i'm very happy with r+ and reason 12. especially the players. i'm a guitar player and i dont know music theory so they're a godsend for me!

nevermind... went back to my pc for reason. it's too much of a p.i.t.a.

i have a mac with 2 drives, assd drive and a tb secondary drive. i want to put both programs on the tb drive but when i open reason companion it says reason 12 is not installed. so i move companion to the ssd drive and leave r 12 in the secondary, but it wont recognize r 12. only when i move both to...

what i'm trying to do is just play the combinator patch. have tried playing like an instrument, bounce in place. is there any other ways to get sound out of a patch that doesnt respond to either ways?

i'm getting the packs from the reason companion and notice that some sounds are in a combinator. i know how to use them if they're played like an instrumeny, and if i have to bounce in place, but ive found a few that neither work. is there more ways to record a combinator?

i want to move reason 12 and the + companion, but the companion doesnt seem to sync up with reason 12 when i move them from my ssd drive to my other hard drive. any suggestions?

wow! not one update or feature add to the sequencer. i truly believe being a full daw is not in the cards...

studio one v.5 and waveform 11 pro

i load up a complex synth with a player and hit record on my daw and on the rack vst but nothing gets recorded. any tips?

reason beta 12 is in my account but i don't see where to download it. any body know?

whn i open reason suite 11 (i also have +) n another daw it loads reason 11 and tells me there is an update. it won't open reason 11 suite.

i have reason + and reason 11 suite, but when i open up the rack plugin in any of my daws it says reason 11 ver 11.3 and it says new update,but i deleted 11 and have 11 suite. it wont open in 11 suite. any suggestions?

i would like to record the combinator in it's entirety in the run mode

could someone show me how to record a combinator? i have tried to learn how to automate each device, but it doesnt seem to work. i want to record one of the combinators in beatmap. is there a video or tutorial? thank you.

i've been playing with some new beatmap combis and i can't figure out how to record them. i use the pencil tool and draw a line to record with like i do with octo rex, but it doesn't work. i then hit bounce to clip and nothing! any help? ideas? thanks.

i notice i can only click on the timeline of the cursor/playhead to get around. is there not a way you can click anywhere in the seqencer and it move?

you're right. when i'm recording and using a synth i forget i'm a musician!lol! good tip about counting frets. guitars, i know. after playing a guitar for about 40 years i should know theory!
