When Thor, Antidote etc. are experts for analog bass sounds, why not use these and take Vecto for stuff that suits better to its structure and character? It would be nice if the font colour of the route windows etc was a different colour to black ie, orange or blue or something, my eyes always get confused when variables are the same colour as labels...I suppose that's a propellerhead default though which isn't optional.

I had bought the Backline when the bundles first came out, so was looking through the other two but noticed that a lot of what I fancied was on sale seperately, such as Ozone, Synchronous, Resampler....so I decided to build my own bundle from the sale items. The Latch looks very useful. I don't like the confirmation prompt for the reset though, this might get annoying very quickly, I would leave it out as Reason has a fantastic 'undo' feature...should we make a mistake.

As I only bought Reason 8 in late november, the onlt RE's I had out of all the bundles was DC-9 in backline and Selig gain and leveler from the outboard. So I bought backline as I wanted the Radicals and the drumkits. I'll be buying synthetic once my funds replemish a bit.

Exactly this. Combinator was designed many years ago, long before RE's and I used to run out of rotaries even back then.

Take the soft tube channel. An example is if some band wants the sound that comes from that hardware channel and are paying 2700 for a recording of their songs , then it's an investment and profit as they wouldn't record otherwise.
