Re: Announcing Reason 13
It switches the entire filter section and you can adjust low/high cut both in the display and by dragging the values. https://i.imgur.com/paAxfwE.png I have to say this simple feature alone may make Ripley a replacement for The Echo in all my future projects! It was the first thing I looked for I c...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
The thing is I dont want to add another device just for low / high cut, 2 simples knobs that are very easy to implement in the device I have noticed the feedback filter but I cant seem to view the actual low and high cut off knobs (frequency cut off) If I select low/high will the freq shift / offse...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
All nice but minor disappointments like the delay, they could of easily add a low cut high cut in the EQ section, so important. typical PH not going all the way, I will still have to add the ProQ3 after the delay. Ripley has a low cut/high cut filter in the feedback path, you can choose between tha...

Re: Reason Studios 13 or 14 (Future Talk)
I'm starting to think it's going be a big update. They have been quiet for a while, since the roadmaps where completed and the major refactoring seem's to be done, the updates are getting smaller and sparse. Hope they will surprise us with something great and not a bad news like when they dropped li...

Re: the fan
It's there to cool down the CPU, if every device had a fan, we wouldn't need real ones in our computer and there for we would save money but software engineers are too lazy and now we are stuck buying real ones. My theory is that the CPU think it's real so it's becomes real, kind of like mind over m...

Re: Subtractor can do wicked synth bass, and.......
If you master post processing like saturation, distortion, compression, EQ, delay, reverb, as a base and add many other effects, you can make most synth sound pretty good, like with bass, adding a bass exciter does help a lot. Like you said, these synths with minor modern add-ons like spread and uni...

Re: Sigmund 2 from D16 is (finally) out
What is obviously missing is 12db filters low cut and high cut just below each pan button, maybe the same at the end below the limit (global), these features are so useful that I cant understand such a device not having them

Re: Looks like Reason Studios have redesigned their site...
Ironic timing as I just got through downloading my Ableton Live 12 upgrade. Been wondering what's been going on with RS Inc going AWOL the last few months. All this time on a Swedish winter holiday? Nope...it was all hands on deck updating their website. Sheesh! I realize that RS Inc surrendered th...

Re: Looks like Reason Studios have redesigned their site...
Let's please be nice. I think people can voice opinions without being so harsh and dramatic. The tone some people have would not be acceptable for reviews of music here because that's understood to be crappy behavior. Somehow people seem to forget that companies are comprised of people. If there's ...

Re: Looks like Reason Studios have redesigned their site...
I keep going back to it saying that maybe I was to quick to judge. No, it's bad, almost can't believe it's real and this was approved. Ho well, time to get past the initial shock, I guess things can only get better from this garbage, kind of like when Reason 12 was released.

Re: Transpose In Combinator
I Would have preferred to have a knob on the combinator but its the second best thing, I was wondering if there was a player that could do it, I feared it would have been a complicated one (other functions in the device and paying just for one function) but it's small and free, exactly what I need T...

Transpose In Combinator
Hi
Is there a way to assign A knob of the combinator to the transpose (beside the key range)
This is so useful when browsing patches, every synth should have this like The Legend or Spire

Re: Free Synthesizer Expander Module by Cherry Audio ...
Those "Thor can do that" messages are still being used in 2024 SEM is easily 40 years old. Why not? I don't know how long you have been in reason forums but almost any synth that would come out after thor, (many years ago), someone would come up with "Thor can do that" to the point of parody

Re: Reason 12 - Blurry font
I've made the same complaint a while ago when coming up to reason 12. I have switched to a high resolution monitor set to 3848 x 2160 (150%) and almost everything is quite beautiful (the resolution). While there's things about reason 12 that are quite awful in the UI and I've been wondering if I sho...

I have similar issue. Load project today with few (4-8) audio tracks and few sampled instruments (piano, strings), some synths and mass of effects plugins, at the beginning Ram usade reaches 23GB, after 20-40min Ram usage drops to 6GB. This isn't the first project I've noticed this. "Song optimizat...

Re: Reason 12 CPU / DSP
DSP is not CPU. This video explains it pretty nicely: I get but but to be sure. If my current cpu is at 35% and dsp is maxed out (my buffer suze is maxed out at 4096 samples) Since I have plenty of cpu left, would a faster computer make a difference? Do I need a soundcard with a even bigger buffer ...
