In a nutshell, no.
Reason simply responds to MIDI values 0-127. Technically, it's the Beatstep that will need its knob sensitivity adjusting...if it is at all possible.

Since the graphics is one of the major feature updates of v12, it's definitely worth double checking your graphics drivers are up to date.

What audio driver are you using? Asio4All, for example, is notorious for completely locking out system audio when active.

Re: Reason Not recognizing a .wav file
I've downloaded some breakbeat samples before that used the .wav extension but had some form of lossy compression, possibly even just mislabled mp3 files. Sound Forge, VLC, Media Player Classic etc could open and play them but Reason refused to touch them so I had to convert them first.

Re: Audio crackling/pop
Are you using the Scarlett ASIO driver or just the standard WDM driver? The latter is notorious for being inefficient for DAW work.
If you're using the ASIO driver, try an alternative like ASIO4ALL and see if that changes anything

lol we had to wait 7 versions for physical MIDI out (and has never really been expanded on since). You may have to wait quite a while yet before they sort it out...if ever.

Re: Is there a player that can delay/quantize incoming midi notes?
i will pm you the link So I can confirm this does what I need albeit with limited functionality. I can now trigger notes live with perfect timing for arpeggios etc but it'll only work in certain scenarios. It would be great if this was a Player, that way it could work with any device and also have ...

It'll vary from system to system. It's merely an option to find the most efficient usage of available hardware.

Is there any movement on the master fader meter? Also check the output meters on the Hardware Interface at the top of the rack. There has to be something registering a noise.

Re: Holy forksticks, R13 will probably land this year ...
Not holding my breath for this year tbh. As far as I can tell the dev team have had their hands busy with endless bugfixes, patches and whatnot.
If they do manage to push out a new version, it'll probably be a couple of superficial features with a 13 slapped on it.

So, another high end RE developer has pulled out and no observable response from RS? No public statement of what's going on or even any attempt of putting users at ease or damage control?

Re: M-Audio Air-Hub & Reason 10
Reason and other music software typically can only use one audio device at a time. Since the T669 microphone is a USB device it operates as an independent audio device and therefore cannot work in conjunction with the Air Hub. A workaround is to use software like Asio4All or Voicemeeter to combine m...

Most likely caused by a flakey firewire connection. What Thunderbolt adapter are you using? There's a strong possibility that's the culprit.

They fixed Remote support for these, so hardware setups should still work. What issues are you having with it? Look: Here's Reason 10 R10 Inserts.png And here's Reason 12 R12 Inserts.png They didn't fully fix it. There are no longer any programmable knobs or buttons anywhere on the insert. Their "s...

Re: R12, 16 months on, ... how are you all finding it?
Gonna be honest here. I've tried forcing myself to like R12 but I keep falling back to an older version. There's a few reasons for this. 1. The new combinator is NOT external controller friendly! There's no easy way of allocating how each knob responds to which midi signal. The only way to do it is ...
