Re: Deep Bass - how to?
First of all, THANK YOU for explaining this. To be honest, I had to read it 2 times (and will have to do it again), to understand what you wrote. This is simply because it is very technical and english is not my native language :-) But I see, that this is not just ONE effect. I need to analyze my s...

Re: Dr. Octo-Rex question
Maybe this is a bpm problem. I mean, the original wav sample has a different bpm than the bpm set in Reason's sequencer. In your case it looks like the sample has a faster bpm and is shorter than the 6 bars shown in your picture. Bouncing to rex creates a rex file which will have the same bpm info a...

I was one of the very first people who got one of the first licenses when their first products were released. I've got a a serial number for the everything bundle which includes the licenses for all their products they released and will release. Never had any issues with my serial. Maybe there's a p...

Re: How my video with 47 million views was stolen on YouTube
Had exactly the same problem with one of my own productions. Got a claim by Youtube where a music royalty collection agency, called "Audiam", has claimed one of my own productions. Had the same senseless disputes with Youtube like in your case. I got 2 strikes on Youtube. Then i contacted that Audia...

Re: Waves Renaissance Bass vs Bass Enhancer RE
You even can do the same thing what Waves RBass does only with Reason devices. RBass just adds a specific amount of filtered saturation on a specific frequency to the audio signal to add some more overtones which makes the bass sounding fuller or more powerful. You can do the same with Scream4 and t...

Re: Korg RE/VST crossgrade option
Got a reply now from Korg support. There's no crossgrade option for the Rack Extensions/VST versions available. There're just upgrade options for the Korg Legacy Cell to Korg Collection available. You have to pay the full price for the single VST's or the complete collection.

Korg RE/VST crossgrade option
Hi!
I purchased the Korg MonoPoly and Polysix Rack Extenions a while back. Does anybody know if there's a crossgrade option available for the VST versions? Can't find anything on the Korg website.
Thanks

Re: Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger is simply *THE BEST* VST synth on the market IMHO
I'm using Avenger for a while now. And it is an amazing synth. And i also have to say it's good not just for EDM stuff. If you go really deep into this synth, you can create all kind of powerful sounds with it. I don't want to compare it with other synths, every synth has its own pros and cons. Ok, ...

Re: Please add a Rebirth forum
No Support for 64 bit at the moment, sorry. Because i used some code modules written by 3rd party developers and they're all just in 32 bit code. I have to wait until these developers release 64 bit versions of these code modules, because i can't compile them by myself to 64 bit, because they're pro...

Since the Rebirth Museum site is down, it would be nice, to have a forum for Rebirth on Reasontalk. So all Rebirth users still can share their own and new made song files or mods with other users.

Just set the the bypass switch at the top left of whatever module to off, then back to on, and the tail/delay stops immediately. An if you turn back on, the tail stays off, until a new signal feeds the reverb or delay. And you also can automate the bypass knob of each device. Or throw them in a Comb...

Onboard latency
No they don't. You can try with a VMG by connecting the measure output to the input of a mix channel and the direct outs to the measuring input. I noticed, that some devices of Reason have latency. Especially Thor. I made a Combinator Patch with a Thor, where the audio in's of Thor were affected by...

Have you activated the energy save mode of your OS? This can also be a problem. Because in some energy save modes the harddrives will be turned off after a specific time period, when the computer goes into idle mode to save energy. And it takes some time when the drives jump on again. It's recommend...

But for me the best example for a noticeable specific sound is the Nexus VST. You can always remark, in which tracks the Nexus VST was used. I would describe this sound as a kind of "plastic" sound. In a lot of the actual EDM/Trance/Dance/Hands Up tracks you can directly hear, that the Nexus was use...

Hi! The professional sound is possible with Reason . . well I have heard some great stuff made with Reason. Q looking for a quicker way to make nn-xt patches out of waves
Just mark all the samples you want load while pressing and hold the shift key. This way the samples will be loaded into NN-XT in the order you marked the samples in the browser. So you can first mark the lowest note, then the next notes in order up until to the last note (e.g. mark C-0 1st, then C#-...

Easy way to find the BPM??
You don't need any detection software for this. You just need a bit of math. It's very easy: Take the track and load it in an audio editor that shows the exact length of the track in seconds (e.g. the freeware Audacity ). Start the program and open the track. Now mark a small part with the length of...

How do I make this trance bassline?
I think it's a saw wave for the edgy part and a -1 octave triangle wave for the bassy fundamental part, with a slight saturation or distortion, or maybe a bitcrusher on the saw. Then eq'ed and maybe a slight to moderate (sidechain) compression.
With Antidote this should be no problem.

Control Room and Master Out
Does anyone have a clue on how to get the Click on the Control Room out? Because I use Control Room out on headphones when tracking and it would be nice to have the click on the cans as well. With a small trick you can build your own "click" metronome using a Redrum. Just load a short click sample ...

Or a sub-title where you have to fill with a genre (where you can write in own words) e.g. "please type in a genre" would be enough.JNeffLind wrote:Wouldn't be hard to start a practice of "tagging" your own post by putting genre first in the title perhaps.

Feature suggestion for the Reason Music Forum.
It would be great and helpful to have a kind of genre feature for the posted music like several sub forums for different genres, e.g. acoustic, electronic, classical, rock, etc. Or maybe some kind of tags, which can be added to the title of the thread for a better overview. Just an idea.
