Re: Work on the "Forgotten Waveshaper v2.0" has begun. What do YOU want to see?
A few things I would like to see: - a customizable grid where you can set a x- and a y-value with the ability to snap to grid - an option to only show the upper right quadrant - the ability to move upper right (and bottom left) point (right now they are fixed at (1,1) and (-1,-1)) - move symmetry bu...

Re: import audio to comp editor?
I've tried what you are trying to do and everything works as it should here. (Drag clips on top of each other, join, comp edit) I can cut, select portions, crossfade and do all the usual things. I don't know what you are doing wrong, maybe you have selected the single take mode for a comp lane (the ...

Re: New "REsonator" from Turn2On
Still some things not working properly:
- Resonance control on post filter
- The LFO destination; seems to always route to the decay
- The LFO on resonator B doesn't do anything at all

also the LFO on resonator A seems to operate at a fixed rate, no matters the settings for the rate and the multiplier. The LFO on resonator B seems to have no effect at all.

Re: New "REsonator" from Turn2On
There may be a bug in the post filter. The HP and the BP filters act like a low pass filter and the resonance control seems to have no effect.

Cannot confirm, works fine here. Make sure your loop is 8 bars long. If you only loop over 4 bars, the pendulum won't swing back.

Re: Rob Papen arp-sounds out of sync
I just pulled the trigger on Explorer4 and in the full versions the knobs work as they should. So I guess it was just the demo versions. Anyway, very happy now!

Re: Rob Papen arp-sounds out of sync
I've just received a reply:
"Thanks for your mail.
About the bug, we currently working to update all our products.
I will cc this email to Jon our programmer."
So it seems they are working on it.

Re: Rob Papen arp-sounds out of sync
Ok, I,ve been testing the temposync issue as well (as far as possible without tweaking) and some presets are in sync while others seem to go their own way.
Hope they fix the issues soon cause predator2 sounds amazing.

I'm on windows PC so that won't help me.. Maybe they can look at the windows versions too, I'll just have to wait for their reply.
Can you change parameters on the mac or same issue there?

Re: Rob Papen arp-sounds out of sync
I am considering the explorer bundle, so I dowloaded demos for Predator2, Punch and Raw. They load up fine and I can play the presets but I can't change any parameters, the knobs just snap right back to the initial setting as soon as I release the mouse button. At first I thought it was a demo limit...

Great update. Just installed it but when you make changes to the spectrum and then try to copy the waveform the device crashes.

Re: Can you mute layers/zones in NN-XT?
Instead of muting on the nnxt you can also use the different outputs. When you route your zones to different outputs you can use a mixer to mute zones. You can also send the zone you want to mute to an unused (unconnected) output. This way you can mute a zone without changing its level.

I noticed another thing, the last three wave shapes on the multi-osc don't match up with those on thor. For the rest they look amazing.

Re: 3D-renders for a RE
Looking great. Just noticed one thing, the rotary controls of the Phase Mod Osc are off. On Thor they are the same type as the Analog Osc but in your renderings they are the same as the controls on the rest of the oscillators.Nirude wrote:Back to the subject, Thor..

You can do this with Thor. The instructions how to set it up are on the backside: "Random pitch for each note". If you want a dedicated re, take a look at Randrome by the chronologists:

Re: Sustain not working on midi keyboard.
The sustain pedal sends out controller data, so try selecting "Midi Control Keyboard" for the model. Also make sure that "record enable parameter automation" (red round button next to the mute and solo) is turned on for the track and that automation override (lowest green light next to the DSP meter...

Re: RPRevrb overload
Ah, now I think I get it - the DC offset is caused by the modulating wave... Actually it is the other way round, a DC offset in the modulator will not result in a DC offset in the final waveform. It is only when you use the half waves as carrier that you get a dc offset in the output signal. A good...

Re: RPRevrb overload
So this might provide a bit of a dilemma for devices that do both audio and CV - seems like Ammo solved it by correcting the DC offset only at audio rates. The question that remains is at what frequency that crossover point lies (I don't have Ammo btw). With Ammo you can select if it runs at audio ...

Re: RPRevrb overload
Very interesting topic :) Certainly good to know of this behaviour in FM4. And I don't fully get why their would be DC offset in half-waves. Seems like either a bug in FM4, or unwanted behaviour that, as AMMO seems to prove, can be fixed. FM4 is a FM-synth and when you use a half wave as a modulato...
