Create a MIDI track for the plug. Right click on the Plug in the Rack and scroll down to "Creat Track for iwish" and that will allow you to "play" the plug with the newly created MIDI lane selected.

Buy a copy of Computer Music Magazine and install this from their free plugs (You can buy a print copy or buy from the CM App)

Still on 8 myself but from memory some of the 9 betas had logging enabled so were more CPU intensive than the release version if I am not mistaken. Maybe that is what you experienced?

You could try Chunk Trig in the Nurse Rex in Kong and trigger the chunks of the same break from different pads?
