For the Reason 8 naysayers.........
8.2 was the one that finally convinced me to upgrade from 7.1, since it addressed the two of the biggest gripes I had with Reason 8: No Revert in the browser Removing the keyboard shortcut for the Recording Meter (which I use A LOT with my analog gear) I must say that I like the new approach the pr...

Scottym's GUI Project Gallery- A History Of 2D & 3D Art & RE-Vis Concepts & Stuff You've Never Seen
The bad news is, Scotty, I remember looking through your posts and seeing something mentioning that you had moved on from Reason to Studio One. I did a bit of searching and then found this: http://www.reasontalk.com/post/show_single_post?pid=1286471907&postcount=47 So I have to assume that from you...

Scottym's GUI Project Gallery- A History Of 2D & 3D Art & RE-Vis Concepts & Stuff You've Never Seen
Sorry, but if you read so much into a segment of the PUF community who have inferiority complexes and form alliances against visually creative individuals, then you will probably think that. Also if it's not escaped your attention, propellerheads have completely reshaped themselves and their websit...

Scottym's GUI Project Gallery- A History Of 2D & 3D Art & RE-Vis Concepts & Stuff You've Never Seen
I've not even started posting the RE redesign work yet Gak :D , but really everyone of us are unique individuals on here, some are more visually creative and prefer to show that than to type it out on screen, an image says a thousand words as they say. If you are new to Reason and were not part of t...

Scottym's GUI Project Gallery- A History Of 2D & 3D Art & RE-Vis Concepts & Stuff You've Never Seen
Personally I think scotty is from the year 2156 and is trying to show us what simple tools they use for music creation from his time. Our tiny brains cannot comprehend it all yet. This ^ He's an Apple employee from 2156. Not quite, however I was accused of working for Native Instruments over on the...

Scottym's GUI Project Gallery- A History Of 2D & 3D Art & RE-Vis Concepts & Stuff You've Never Seen
Cool!! Although it really triggers my OCD, like I don't know where to look and focus! Do u have any plans of releasing it irl ? Well it's something that is simplistic geometrically to be 3D printed parts wise, however a future version which would probably look a bit different is a possibility. One ...

Scottym's GUI Project Gallery- A History Of 2D & 3D Art & RE-Vis Concepts & Stuff You've Never Seen
Understanding GUI design theory (cognition, user behaviour, colour theory, etc.) and developing an intuition for balance, style and related trends is crucial. No doubt your modelling skills are stellar, but if you could work on those other areas I think you could quite easily become a design phenom...

Help request: zoom bar disappeared.
Wow, did they really call them Navigators ? Sounds familiar haha, and I just thought they adapted the idea from the R-XQwaizanG wrote:Go to the Options menu, select "Show Navigators".
That will bring the zoom bar back.
Never mind, thought OP was meaning the zoom function in R8.3.

This blows Studio One and Live out of the water. I switched over, and I'm never looking back. Studio One and Live are so bloated and busy. This is much more intuitive and the GUI is much more pleasing to the eye. You just wake up in the morning and you feel this connection with all the little ch...

Err, just because you prefer studio one doesn't mean the whole world can't have their own preferences that differ. Logic has lots of content too. Round about 30 gigabytes, and I have all the disks for it in a box in my junk drawer. I do have a strong VST setup as well but I'm content with reason, e...

For the Reason 8 naysayers.........
Everybody keeps talking about Studio One yet i have yet to see one reputable artist who uses it and praises it. I dont know why people keep comparing Reason to Studio One when i see just as many people selling their studio one to come back to Reason. I wonder if there is as many Reason users in Stu...

For the Reason 8 naysayers.........
If R8.3 was the R8 release, do the naysayers on R7 think they may have upgraded sooner? Nope, I don't like the flat bright GUI poorly defined, inconsistent gui with no colour control, no new devices or exclusive RE's (sorry but I don't class replacements for Line 6 Amps as valid). No changes the so...

I dun goofed and bought Ableton Live 9 :D
I ain't going anywhere, well not just yet anyway... I tried Abelton years ago (2011), installed version 8 SE which came with my Focusrite 6 interface. I found it a pretty sterile gray experience, some nice interaction concepts in chaining effects but very crash prone. I tried Abelton when it first c...

It's fine, he wasn't attacking, quite the opposite in fact, Tincture and myself communicate on a different wave length which goes right over the head of everyone here . It doesn't apply to anyone else on this forum however.

Hydronexius Worksation ROM RE Instrument coming soon….
I don't normally post in the Rack Extension forum but I do browse it occasionally, it's a really really cool design I have to say, a lot of work and passion has gone into it, I'm seeing some parallels with some of my own recent design work in the use of texturing, the background grid and carbon fibe...

It's always been something I thought about creating on the old PUF forum, but didn't really get round to it. Some of my work will intrigue you, puzzle you.. possibly even amaze you or both. Some of my projects might not be completed and still awaiting to be revisited. Besides my own unique personal ...

1. A monthly fee to have Reason up to date/cancel anytime? 2. Sounds like it would work for many folks in this forum. 3. And I'm sure more folks would accept it if introduced as an option to buying... 1. Great, I have to pay another monthly fee to save my bloody song, fantastic. 2. I'm pretty sure ...
