I'm sure they're quite similar - don't recall doing anything special with mine. And IIRC, there was at least one other user doing the same at the time. Hope you don't feel I'm trying to steal your thunder here btw… ;( Not at all! It's nice to see this thread get a bump every now and again. I've alw...

Re: Synthesis

Chris Peti has/had a YouTube series called "The Peti Test" where he would break down famous sounds. I really appreciated hearing him discuss what he listened for in a sound in order to recreate it. The "Thor Demystified" series under Tutorials on the Prop website was huge for me. The authors give yo...

Re: propulsion M+S are wired

The original question (according to my timestamp) was asked at September 2 and 10:25 pm. Response fro developer was September 3 at 12:50 am. That's less than 2.5 hours. If email is going to give a more immediate response, the Lectric Panda team is gong to pulling a lot of all-nighters. Someone make ...

Re: OS X El Capitan + Reason

I'm stuck too. I want to alert the Props, but I think they're on holiday. It's my own dumb fault for beta testing, I did make a back-up, so I might revert.

The are a lot of RV7000 MKI pictures used in the opening of this manual for a release that is supposed to have MKII as it's flagship feature.

Reason 8.3 Official Public Test Thread

I'll try to put something together for non-traditional IR creating (ITB) which has many applications. I've got friends who create IRs and may tap them for some suggestions.  The main concepts are the same as for any recording: instrument quality (speaker in this case), room position of the instrume...

Reason 8.3 Official Public Test Thread

I'd love if Props would do a tutorial about recording IR for the new device. Maybe someone else on the forum has come good tips for doing this. Really, I just miss Frank's VOs.

FREE Steel Pans (Steel Drums) Refill

I couldn't find any kind of sample-based steel pans (steel drums) in the FSB or any of the refills I had previously downloaded. I found some free NN-XT patches pre-made from www.kara-moon.com. I worked on a combinator that uses the sustain pedal to switch between the normal hits and the rolls patche...

The future of Step Note Recorder

Off the top of my head (and I'd likely want to experiment with these before making a decision: 1) What about a way for each step to have it's own length (rather than automating the resolution parameter). For example, step 1 could be a quarter note, steps 2 and 3 are 8th notes, etc. The resolution kn...

Toy Piano Refill

I was never really happy with the toy piano patches that I found in the FSB. I went online and found sound samples of a two-octave Shoenhut Toy Piano and turned them into Reason instruments. I wanted to recreate the unpredictable character of the instrument, so the combinator has multiple samples pe...
