Yes, soundfont support is nice, although I wish Reason took SFZ as well.

Building a desktop is one thing. A laptop for Reason though, can't beat a MacBook Pro for the trackpad and gestures (insanely important when working on a laptop), blazing fast PCIe-based flash storage, Retina display... And I've never had any latency issues with the built-in audio. Also, I suppose ...

My inner data geek is wondering about the  traffic  statistics  after the initial hype of the new website...  I wonder  what percentage of  traffic were the forums, and if it will be replaced with traffic from the shop and discover.

It's probably safe to assume that something will  be done at some point, given that most displays are going hi-res these days....  maybe they are improving the way the rack is displayed in future versions,  you can sort of  tell that reason 8 has a 3d-ish feel to the transport bar with those take-es...
