Re: Common Mixing Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

https://thriftyvinyl.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/img_17831.jpg There is an insert illustration from McCartney's 'Press to Play' album showing pre-mix panning ideas. I don't know if this will be helpful with regards to panning suggestions or not but it does present a cool visual. Most of these mix p...

Re: Selig Leveler vs normal compression

I use both the Selig Leveler and RE-2A on vocals. Sometimes one suits a vocal better than the other. Sometimes using them both gives a great result. It's just one of those things I find where I just have to audition different things on the channel and in different orders and see (or hear rather) wh...

Re: The Mace Professional Compressor - in the shop

This compressor is the best compressor that I have demoed in reason shop . I have forgotten about Softube how it felt since I don't even have the VST version of it but nothing can come close to this compressor. Very smooth and it doesn't add any color to a signal and so natural. Seilg and this comp...

Re: The Mace Professional Compressor - in the shop

All the functions seems really pro, but sorry the GUI is terrible. Can't get have this on my rack Hope you will update your graphics... what´s wrong with the GUI? It´s easy to use :) I think what he means is that it looks very immature, too much comic-style. At least that is the reason I will not b...

Re: New Album (acoustic) - Life in a Dream

Nicely done Liam. There is a good variety in the compositions overall to keep the interest flowing, especially when the tracks are mellow in nature. I wouldn't say mellow, I dislike that descriptive, more of a laid-back vibe really. All of the tracks are performed very well and the passion is appare...

Re: What kind of new RE would you guys like to see developed?

[quote="DNA Apocalypse"] I was thinking about a nice all in one mastering tool with: a multi band compressor or master bus compressor, surgical equalizer, and mid side imaging in one RE. That would be a great idea and you will probably sell a bunch. It surprises me to this day that the mastering sid...

I contacted Ernest and received a reply email ReStereo will be on sale for $39.00. It was suppose to be marked down he is contacting Propellerhead to get the changes made...I think he may mention it in a post here as well.

I'm tempted to think this is a mistake... You could write to Numerical Sound or Propellerhead to ask them if it is one and to find a way to fix this!
I definitely will...thanks

I'm surprised ReStereo stayed at the $69.00 price. I have waited for this item to go on sale but it never seems to. Re: The Rack Extensions of your dreams?

Yes indeed. I asked for people's DREAM devices, not just some vst you would like to see ported. "This would be kinda nice to have" does not exactly sound like a dream. Okay, I dream of a device that spreads stereo signals far beyond the speakers without degrading the sound (as Reason's MClass Stere...

My dream device Yes indeed. I asked for people's DREAM devices, not just some vst you would like to see ported . "This would be kinda nice to have" does not exactly sound like a dream. Hmm? Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't a "Ohmicide-like" device be considered a ported VST you'd like to see? J...

Re: The best compressor.

Re-2A best musical comp on every kind of signals (he's the king for vocals btw). Big character and always great results instantly. FRG great efficient comp for regular uses (and sidechain) because it's very cpu friendly and zero latency. No color or special character on this one I agree, the Re-2A ...
