Re: Any news?

I've just finished designing the rear panel of something... quite special... which we'll be announcing shortly. :P

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

Ummm is it me or does S-Delay still have that "The delay time buffer no longer resets itself when going from silent to running" issue? I loaded that same file as before (after downloading 1.0.2) and it still does the pitch thing for first sound after silence. :) We're looking into this... Will keep...

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

Yup. Minor bug fixes:

- Long delay times now work properly with short bursts of sound.
- The delay time buffer no longer resets itself when going from silent to running.
- The longer synced delay times now work properly.

Thanks to the users who reported these bugs!

Cheers,
Dom

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Launch Competition

Next time? As in the next time AirRaid Audio launch the next batch of super cool RE modules maybe? :D Yes. :) Anyway, back to the comp: I asked Jon, our coder and head of AirRaid Audio, to evaluate the remaining three entries and provide comments. WINNERS - Benedict (SoundCloud favourite) - Zhi Zhu...

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Launch Competition

Briefly: - In regards to the competition, the feedback we've received has been very interesting and will be carefully considered for next time. - In regards to the rear GUIs, we've received enough comments about it to warrant a tweak. The name placement will definitely be changed, and I'll also expl...

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Launch Competition

Hi, With the deadline come and gone, we have four solid entries. I took note of the likes on SoundCloud at midnight January first, and the winner was Benedict, with two. Faastwalker also received two likes, but as he had no registered plays (at the time), we opted to give it to Benedict. We are curr...

Good idea. Will think about how to best do this. Updates and bug fixes first though. We have some nice things in the pipeline.

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

Cheers guys, I really appreciate all the positive feedback we've been receiving. Don't forget to participate in the Launch competition (http://www.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7492550). The decline is December 31st.

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

On the DS-LFO, why do the freq rate values switch between synced and unsynced? In other words, the fastest LFO rate (1/32) is on the left for synced, but on the right (15Hz) for unsynced. Shouldn't the values be the same like maelstrom's LFOs as an example? The slowest rate is on the left whether o...

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

What exactly is the "spin" mode on the DS-LFO doing? Indeed, we seem to have omitted this from the manual. It works as per Mutagen, Pandemic and Relapse; that is, if the Mode button is set to Spin mode, the Spin knob offsets the frequency of the right LFO relative to the left one, causing the modul...

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

Hi, We've been listening intently to the feedback we've been receiving, and I thought I should let you know we're working on an update to Splitter to make its routing more intuitive. And unless I'm very much mistaken, no current presets should be affected, so feel free to continue using it as is in ...

Re: "Elements" Echo Unit

Trying S-Delay as part of the Comp and having a strange thing. Quite commonly after all sound has faded and the unit gone to sleep a new note creates a sort of "spring" sound on the first note which seems to sound like the Delay is getting back to-speed/time as it wakes. I've PMed you about this. B...

Sure. I typically like my FX patches to be "playable", so by all means, automate anything you like!

Re: "Elements" Echo Unit

Here's a Q: are the Filters before or after the first delay instance? Seems to me that filters etc are commonly applied between the delay and feedback which I find annoying as the first echo is always too 'clean'. The filters are applied to the very first delay instance, then recursively. One cool ...

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

I can see that Splitter's routing is proving to be a little confusing. We may have tried to pack too many features into this one :D Either way, I've put together a little diagram to make things clearer. Splitter Routing.png Note: The Post-FX mode was included to allow routings like those of Mutagen ...

Re: "Elements" Echo Unit

Sounds like the better question may be: S-Delay versus Titus? :) Good question. Again, these are very different devices. Titus does some things that S-Delay doesn't (such as custom synced delay times) and vice-versa (stereo delays, envelope follower, stereo modulation, filters, etc.). When designin...

GRIFTY wrote:does this band splitter split perfectly with no phase change?
Yup. Whichever mode you use it in, Splitter produces a perfect, uncoloured sound, which will sum to zero when mixed with a phase inverted duplicate signal. This was one of our primary goals when coding it.

Re: "Elements" Echo Unit

I'm trailing this at the moment. What does it offer that The Echo doesn't? Though facially similar, Echo and S-Delay are very different devices. Conceptually, the biggest difference is that S-Delay tries to do just one thing—i.e., delays—really well, and delegates other effects via the feedback loo...

They each bring something new to the table—the stereo CV modulation alone is unique to this series! But don't take my word for it, by all means try the demos ;)

Re: AirRaid Audio - Elements Modular Bundle in the Shop

Can you make it so that when you add Element - Splitter to another device that it routes the output through the "Main output" Right now it defaults to the Mid band only output. would make more sense to me to have it the other way around. That way you could quickly go on with your band splitting...an...
