We didn't feel that it added much since all it does is load/save the entire state of the device. So we felt it would be more or less the same to just copy the entire device and paste it somewhere. Are you working on this simple but absolutely essential feature? it's a real workflow killer currently! just ask to save the patch with a copy of the used samples on a subfolder named: "patchname_samples" (to avoid the absolute path problem)
