What an eccentric device... and thread.
Sounds kinda cool though!

Re: New here and have a question that's been really frustrating me
If you have the money, update to the latest version 8.3. Not only will you get EMI (midi out), but also a treasure trove of cool stuff to play with, it'll be excellent value for your cash.

I bought the backline bundle, had a couple of the REs already, but all I feel now is joy... no pokes in the eye

Re: Who has been your favourite developer for 2015?
Of course, I like all the guys you mention above, but I gotta give That Music Company a special shout. His devices sound excellent, are very good value even when they're not on sale, and the FREE(!) updates have greatly expanded his already awesome REs.

Re: PX 7 thoughts
I've got PX7, and although it was good way to be introduced to the workings of FM, I now find it a bit limiting, boring, or well it takes too long to get an interesting patch out of. These days I almost always pick up FM4 for its immediacy and more colourful sound. Likewise, I like drones and find t...

Re: So, how many RE's do you actually have?
I've got around 70, and although it adds up to quite a lot of money... I've REALLY enjoyed them! Very few regretful purchases. I'm going to buy more too, Propulsion being next on my hitlist. I used to buy hardware but I've started selling it now as I get more joy out of REs... and the quality is so ...

Re: That Music Company Re's
I've got them all now and love them. Just picked up T2 and mr OD to complete the collection. T2 is pretty wild, the presets were much harsher than I was expecting, but they're interesting and unique, and you can easily tame it if desired. I also made some presets more to my taste now. Mr OD is absol...

It's been better than it used to be but this is [NOT SOLVED] for me. I'm on The latest ios and have tried all the suggestions above numerous times. Sometimes I stay logged in for a week, but today and yesterday, I've been logged out twice now. I wonder if this relates to any forum work going on behi...

Re: POLL: Which version of Reason are you using?
Ex- R8 hater here. Got over the offence caused by their initial marketing wet fart, and feel like they sufficiently apologised in time, by way of patch revert, browser in rack, and rv7000 mk II. Now on 8.3 and enjoying Reason more than ever. 'See ya' Cubase....... well... until I need to pitch-corre...

Re: ScuzzyEye MS-34 Chip Synth is in the Shop
Thanks for the further info Scuzz/Simon. Crazy that even the percussion was done with it, wow. Will defo check out the combi patches and try it in some complex cv setups. I've never played with a chiptune synth yet so can't wait for the weekend when I get some time to take it for a spin!

Re: How to drag velocity lines in piano roll
I get irritated having to hold alt or change to the pencil tool to adjust note velocities... I never understood why it does't just let you change them with the pointer or any tool... there's nothing else you can do in the velocity field, is there?

Re: Cheapish printer
Can't advise you on the printer... But what I will say is don't buy the 'official' ink when you get one. There are sites that sell refilled cartridges at like 20% the price of the official cartridges, and they're just as good! My ladyfriend recently discovered this (I hardly ever print anything), wi...

Re: Whats your Fav synth RE?
#1 Antidote - for its divine thickness, unmatched by any other reason synth. Also a breeze to program... manna from heaven just flows outof it! #2 Tres - for lively analog realism and cool mod matrix #3 ABL3 - bit of a one trick pony, but what a fookin trick!!! Cant really comment on the Papen synth...

Re: Reason 8.3 Zoom into clip needs to be better !
Well I'm with pjeudy on this one. When i first heard of the feature i assumed it would zoom in and then zoom back to your previous view, that seems the most practical implementation for nearly all situations. A separate option to zoom to the overview would be welcome too... but to do it in sequence,...

Bypassing EQ in the big mixer?
Ah, thanks guys. I suppose I'd ideally like a single button to bypass the entire EQ section, including the cuts. I guess that's not possible?
