Not to derail the thread but your "creative filter sweeps" sentence instantly made me think to use Synchronous or Shape RE!

I would say, choose the one which inspires you the most! Then try to translate what you learned to others and you will notice where the differences/strengthness/weakness are!

thanks for reminding how useful can be Thor... From time to time I also like to activate two noise oscillators and route them differently thorugh mod matrix to Filter 3 Right and Left input for a nice wide stereo effect!

Are you talking about changing the shape of the oscillator for each of the 6 operator sections? You could pop Zero in a Combinator, link a combi knob to say Op 2 Shape, and automate the combi knob.
