Re: Reason Not recognizing a .wav file
currently hitting this issue - imo reason should just work with any audio format you throw at it. I have a giant folder of final fantasy samples I acquired and reason won't read any of them - very annoying to have to export every single one (there's like 500) as AIFF before reason, my sound sampling...

Re: Reason 12 with Ignition Key
i wish my fn ignition key still worked. it abruptly stopped working when i switched computers & props refused to repair it or troubleshoot it for me in any way whatsoever. they literally told me to just buy a new one, and at that time i didn't have much money to spare on nonsense. now i just log in ...

Re: Recreate sp404 mkii resample functionality in reason?
Anyone have any vst suggestions that would do something like this? Hate to bump my own thread but Google is failing me hard tbh. Looking for a gated sample & hold audio buffer that will record when audio is live, but will not record silence. Also perhaps some audio time limit to prevent my system fr...

Re: Recreate sp404 mkii resample functionality in reason?
Is there anything that automatically records audio, but is gated, so it won't just keep on recording silence?

Recreate sp404 mkii resample functionality in reason?
Hey fellas, I'm getting kinda hyped up on the sp404 mk2 coming out soon. It has a feature where it automatically records the last, i think 25 seconds of audio for you to immediately resample. I'm wondering if such a configuration might be possible in reason? I'm thinking of maybe using a ridiculousl...

Re: Mimic: New Creative Sampler
I understand a lot of you make like techno & stuff, but mimic is a godsend for sample choppers in reason. Just try to chop a soul sample up & making a proto-Kanye West-style beat with it. It's sooooo much easier than with, say, NNXT. I used to use Kong as my main sample player, chopping out slices b...

I've been wanting an advanced tuner in the rack for a long time. Something to help with tuning drums.

Re: Reason updates (11.3.7 / 11.3.8) and Reason+
Don't follow reason anymore so I've only just heard about this update but my take: shit sucks just as bad as the last five years of reason updates have. See you guys the next time reason drops some shit corporate SAAS bullshit & tries to market it as a benefit to long time users

I'm pretty sure the roaming stuff is RE's. I deleted the local cache folders though & reason seems to be working just fine

Re: Reason Using 6.5 GB of local appdata?!?
No, that's program files. This is an invisible folder where apps often store cached files. Although reason by far uses more than any other program I run, in the order of like 6x as much

Re: Any ideas or requests for a new RE?
Really wish Reason had a very advanced Tuner that could be used to dial in drum tunings & other stuff. The basic tuner is fine enough for a guitar but it can't like sample & hold for at-a-glance drum tuning

I gotta agree with Rackman: you should either wait for 12 or give up on Reason.

Reason Using 6.5 GB of local appdata?!?
Why on earth does reason need to use so much app data? It's like 1,500 files worth of random hash BS files like: 42c17437-4b37-40f5-82e2-dd9a5377d016.cachemanager Can I dump this folder? EDIT: wow, it's using another 6.2 GB in the roaming folder. Wtf does reason need so much appdata cache for?! I me...

Re: The best workflow enhancement I've ever come up with. What are yours?
I use an audio splitter to split off the main signal from Reason into the sampling input. This way, any sound that gets made within Reason, I can just immediately hit the "sample" button in Kong, etc, and have it cued up.

Re: Reason has the worst customer support of any product I use
my issue is that Windows stopped detecting my ignition key on startup. I have to remove and replug the key to get codemeter or reason to recognize it. Which means I just end up using the slow ass online log-in every time.

Reason has the worst customer support of any product I use
At what point is this going to become common knowledge? Every customer help link I click seems to lead to a zendesk "this page doesn't exist!" error. They have no official forums anymore. Sweden apparently takes random month-long holidays six times a year, leaving my help tickets hopelessly ignored ...

well vst was 9.5. i only bought 10 to get 9.5, I was honestly pretty happy on 7 for the longest time. IMO 8 was the worst update (before this one).
