Excellent new features except that tutorial tab. I haven't read the whole thread but is it just me that finds the new tutorial tab completely useless. Is there an option to remove it ? I don't know about ableton but Studio one has an option to disable this function. Reason seems to scan specific vsts.

Every time I open Reason automatically scans some of my VSTs . I don't know why but it is annoying. Everything work ok so far except this.
Does anyone have the same experience ?

44.100 is perfectly fine. If you want improvement in some scenarios go with 88.200. The only thing I would recommend is to keep 24bit until final mastering. At this point you can go to 16bit but remember to apply dither.

Yes from 7, but propellerheads should come up with something about PDC quickly. Reason for me is almost useless for big mixes with over 40 - 50 tracks, especially for EDM style music.

Everything works in the same way nowadays. You don't have to follow every update unless a new feature is really important for you.
I am still in version 7 simply because I was not attracted by any feature of Reason 8.
It's the first time since version 2.5 that I haven't upgrade.
