I also had the same problem and discovered  it has to be downloaded as a trial version , then it gives u the option of downloading. If u select "buy" , then nothing happens, even tho it is free.

I work in sample rate of 44 and export everything as such. I have an old Esi Maya 44 soundcard, dunno if that could be part of the problem. I will try Benedicts suggestion on my next track and see what happens.
