Re: My journey with Reason+

I dont mind a subscription based system. However I agree the pricetag for r+ is too high comparing to others. And i don't like the idea of having to upgrade a reason peepetual to keep opening your fkles if you opt out the subscription. For me a 2 year sub should give you acces to a perpetual licenc...

Re: Assuming there's going be one, what you think is coming in Reason 13?

i keep thinking of interesting uses for the tutorial screen, the one that pulls in from the rightmost edge... I forgot it's there, because it's the 1st thing I hide whenever I install Reason, to claim back some screen realestate (the option is up there in one of the drop-down menus). To be useful i...

It is a little silly and cumbersome, but you could make a project file with all your REs and send it to him.
Yes great idea, or just use a Combinator. This can be a solution for me wanting to know what REs my friend has, I can just pull up this combi and check when I need to know, cheers.

I predict a minor sequencer tweak that gives a nod to user requests without really fulfilling any of them. And a new device or two. Some under the hood stuff to keep it working on new machines and then point updates fixing all the bugs until v14.
That's a pretty good call lol :)

How are you using Algoritm?

Algoritm has been out for a while, curious to see if anyone has come up with interesting operator / filter etc configurations, or come up with interesting frequencies to play around with, or is it more of a thing you do on the fly? It's great in a Combinator to take advantage of Europa's powerful en...

He also has a bunch of video deconstructions across various artists like DJ Shadow, Beastie Boys, Justice etc.
Sound great I'd love to learn a bit about Norman's big beat creations, cheers for the heads up.

Re: FM Sweep Comparisons

Would have liked to have seen this but still happily using R10, did anything stand out as odd or better or worse than the others? I'm a big fan of Algoritm btw  Algoritm came out well. There were a couple that didn't sound so great but I don't want to name names as I don't want to put peop...

And another one here showing single operator feedback for the synths that allow this. There could be errors in this, for example I wasn't sure how to set this up for Complex-1. They said 13 won't come this year. Still it might drop early 202...

 Well, then nobody and nothing can help you. Man you take this stuff really personally - not trying to engage in more discussion, just making an observation and I could be wrong. I'm upset about inflation etc that makes my life and finances difficult at this time, and the Reason price ...

Got an email with a 50% off offer which makes it $155 AUS, with a claim that Reason 13 will not be released this year. There is only 3 months left in this year, I don't know maybe some people are really enticed by that but it just sounds like a bad move to me. I only want to upgrade for compatibili...

Re: How are your midi devices?

Most of the electronics I have had fail over the last few years have had the micro usb port break. I also had a Beatstep pro that frazzled and needed the whole board replacing. Li-on battery’s are useless over time. I miss the days of cylindrical dc power ports and AA or 9v rechargeable batteries. ...
