Re: Building a new PC - please comment...

I'd consider an ati/amd video card rather than Nvidia for daw use. There's lots of anecdotal evidence around the forums that Nvidias bloated drivers can impact audio stability. Unfortunately, I did not know about it. Fortunately, I have no problems so far. My sound card is Roland Qua...

Hi everyone, I'm currently planning my next machine, which will be used for hobbyist audio tasks (although, as always it should be able to compete with the top notch stuff they use in Cinderella's Castle... -:D), as well as the usual PC tasks and a bit of gaming (I know that you should keep that se...

Get a used Push 2 now - you can always upgrade to a 3 if/when it is released, if you feel the need.
That's what I did. :) No point dreaming of a Push 3 when you could be jamming on a Push 2 right now.
Are you satisfied with Push?
Is it accelerated your work?
How impressions?

Ableton Push 3?

Hi, I have been spending more and more time with Live 10. I am looking around for a good dedicated controller for a better workflow. I think of Ableton Push. There is currently version 2. How do you think ... will there be a version 3? I am asking for your thoughts on this subject. I wonder whether ...

Well, that's not cool. Upgrading version 10 is a waste for me when I resell a second license. I wrote to support. I'll see what they write back.

Reason upgrade question.

Hi. I have 2 Reason licenses. One is Reason 10, the other is Reason 9. I want to buy an upgrade to version 11. Which my Reason will get the upgrade? Can I choose the license I want to upgrade? For me, the better option is an upgrade for Reason 9 to 11.

Some solution might be to use something like this and record audio output to Reason.

Re: How is AMD Ryzen performing on 10.3?

These are very good processors, but you have to choose a dedicated RAM for them. Some memories have problems with Ryzen. For example, see this (dedicated memory): https://www.gskill.com/en/press/view/g-skill-announces-new-specifications-for-amd-ryzen%E2%84%A2-2000-series-processors-and-x470-platform...

Re: Ochen K Graphic Bug

I can not confirm this error. It does not appear on my computer.
Check your computer: graphics card, ram memory, disk. This may be the reason for the error.
Also restart the system and see if the graphical error still occurs and whether it looks the same.

Re: Reason Rack as VST

Also, ReWire only works for midi in, audio out so you're limited to synths. It doesn't work if you wanted to use Reason as a effect unit. It's a shame since there are some really nice ones like Alligator, Neptune and Synchronous that I'd like to use inside Ableton. Exactly. I agree in 100%. This is...

Re: Reason Rack as VST

I would also like it for four reasons: 1. Reason in rewire mode does not support delay compensation; 2. The players functionality in the rewire mode is incomplete; 3. Reason in rewire mode does not support VST; 4. Reason as VST would be easier to sampling in another DAW than the rewire version - you...

Re: Easy way to "Destructive" Loop Record

However there’s currently no way to have this happen automatically (like in Cubase you can cycle record in “replace” mode). So the best you can do is give yourself a bar of padding and just before it loops hit the alt take shortcut. You might even be able to remote override map this to a control on...

Re: Simple multiband EQ with separate outputs for each band ?

And fixed (and already proportionally divided) frequencies in this case will be even more preferable than with the possibility of their adjustment - that would be redundant for this purpose. Just it's easier and faster. To automate this process in order to automatically adjust the frequency of the ...

Re: Simple multiband EQ with separate outputs for each band ?

The coolest method in Reason is to create parallel channels, filter each of them to a specific bandwidth and machining. In my opinion, it is the best and the most plastic method. The extension of this goal will be more limited than parallel channels. In addition, parallel channels should support del...

Re: NoteRepeat Player in Shop

Retouch Control REs are really good price wise. Any similarities to Euclidean? NoteRepeat releases notes like euclidean, but they work differently. Euclidean calculates when the note is to be released on the principle of mathematical formulas. NoteRepeat releases the notes on the principle of an ad...

Re: NoteRepeat Player in Shop

I'm just testing. Very cool, easy to use extension. You can connect it to Kong to write rhythms. In the x-axis of the trackpad, we set the resolution of the strokes for different areas. The Y axis is responsible for the impact force. I recommend joining this extension to kong. Then choose the note -...

Re: How are people using scales and chords?

Yes, the chord memory device as an extension of the RE player is definitely needed. Strange that no one has implemented this yet. It does not seem difficult to do, but I do not have much knowledge about coding. I am also eager to buy such an extension. I introduce chords, and then play them with the...

I am for the RE exchange. I currently have a lot of extensions that I do not use, and maybe they will please others. I also thought a lot about it. In my opinion, this will be a great solution. I would like to create different blocks and then play them (toggle) using midi and thus create arrangements. That would be great.
