Re: Setting "Rec Source" from sequencer
I also think that it will be misleading and incorrect logically. The recording source refers to the audio, not to the sequencer. I think that the "mix channel" and "audio track" should be freeze buttons with frostbite for editing and the flatten button for getting audio of a specific audio channel w...

Re: Bigger combinator
I dream about something like this: Control is via touch panel - as CV Suite Vectorizer. At each corner of the touch panel is the memory bank: Bank A, Bank B, Bank C and Bank D. You create your own devices in Combinator and set the parameters of the devices as you want. Now you press the right mouse ...

Re: Noticable latency differences when recording effect
Hey bolandross :) I sometimes contact with Propellerhead, but in this case it is probably not a mistake, but the function introduced in this way. I do not know. I previously asked them (at every opportunity) :) for delay compensation. This was my biggest problem sooner. It has been introduced, but i...

Re: Noticable latency differences when recording effect
Reason is hopeless in terms of equalizing all delays. Example: 1. Add Redrum and set a simple grid for hat. 2. Add the Izotope Neutron 2 as an effect and make it set the sound (its processing takes a long distance, which is easy to see later). 3. Click Rec Source on the Master Section. 4. Add a new ...

Re: kiloHearts' Phaseplant modular synth - out Spring '19!
It will probably be my next purchase. I really like kHs Multipass and kHs company in general. kHs Multipass and Snap Heap are simple and useful operating platforms for kHs plugins. You can program your own multi-effects quickly and easily. This synthesizer also seems very useful. I am wa...

Re: SSL EQ needs few things
Instead of a reset button, I suggest an effect intensity dial. I mean the amount knob, which at the minimum value disables the eq influence on the sound (reset). The intensity of the equalizer curve should be adjusted by means of such a knob. The value can take up to 120% of the original settings to...

Re: Comping problem
Reason is underdeveloped in this respect. I do not understand why you can not edit (duplicate, copy) sounds in individual take. It annoys me very much because I like to use the option of gentle transitions to individual takes. Unfortunately, the take are not always the same lenght, and then the stai...

Re: Reason Needs Time Align
Yes, I also want this function very much.
The first step may be the multi-lines mode for audio tracks. Seeing the shadow of the second track will make setting the timing easier.

Re: Kuassa Amplifikation Caliburn is in The Shop
I really like your products and I have most of them, but I think that setting the microphone position with the knobs is inelegant today. :) This should be done using the display and newer SDK, axis and distance in one move, not separately. But next yours great product in good price and great sound i...

Re: Question about the possibility of a Macro Player device.
It will be great. Why should we have only one combinator? After all, there can be various combinators - specialized for specific tasks. I also have a lot of ideas for different combinators. I subscribe to this idea with all my heart. Besides, I think that giving developers the largest possible part ...

Re: Reason 11 Features poll
I am surprised that no one is bothered by the fact that when setting the programmer in the combinator, you do not hear the difference in sound immediately. You must move the combinator knob to hear the changes made. In Ableton it looks different. By setting the parameters for the macro knob you can ...

Re: Best sidechain in reason 10
Oh my god I use Pump in almost everything and I never knew you could do that! Absolutely amazing. Such a time saver. Thank you!! I'm imagining it uses some sort of phase cancellation to achieve this to varying degrees in a single send? Yes, this mode uses a reversed phase signal. I am very happy th...

This is the best solution for me today. Why? Because it has a send mode. Insert Pump as the send effect, choose send mode and now you can sidechain on multiple channels - on each with a different strength (only one pump). A great solution.

I also never changed the processor when using the computer. I always bought a new one. Re: PC that can run reason 10 without limitations
If you work exclusively at 512 samples , then you'll likely be fine. From what I've read, it's when you work below 512 samples (in particular 64 samples to 128 samples) where Ryzen just can't compete with Intel, no matter what price point, Threadripper, Ryzen, or otherwise. In short, doing live per...

Hopefully AMD will have fixed the poor low audio buffer performance of Ryzen in the new chips... Yes, this is a problem. I wonder what it will look like. For what latency this problem occurs. I read that at ultra low. What does it mean? Currently, I use 512 samples latency to increase performance a...

The new AMD processors on the way: https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-2000-cpus-preorder/ I seriously think about building a computer based on Ryzen 2700x. Currently, I am still on Phenom II x6 1090t from 2011 :) Cool CPU comparisons can be seen here: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Phenom-II-X...
