Go to Reason's "Options" and set the checkmark to "VST Windows Get Keyboard Focus". It should work now.

You have to invert the phase, when using the scream tape setting in parallel modus. Create a parallel channel per right click on your mixer channel, then put your scream (with tape mode) as insert fx in the parallel channel and switch the *INV* button on.

Reason 9.0 was fine on my PC, but after the 9.1 update (the Ableton Link thing), i noticed that Reason seems to be more CPU hungry than before.
Some heavy tracks that plays ok on 9.0 are now stuttering with the "Computer too slow" message. I don't know, after 8 years maybe it's time for a new PC.
