Looks it finally got multi-track audio warping. I guess it's better late than never. Lack of this feature was one of the major reasons for my switch to Reaper.

Well, this "workaround/solution" was suggested to me by Reason Studios support. Of course, this is not a solution for a situation, when you want to browse through many loops to preview them using their original tempos.

The "solution" is to start sequencer, when previewing rex files. Loops are synced to tempo without skipping first slice.

Pure speculation, but it might be because of upcoming support for Apple Silicon platform. If library ((including its dependencies) they are using for SF2 loading is not available in Silicon native format (arm64) and/or porting would take too much time/resources, they didn't have much choice i guess....
