I still use Recycle. The slicing in Reason never felt right. Everything would feel better if there was third wheel scroll-zooming implemented like any normal piece of software since the inception of a scroll wheel.

I. Enable TAB for the SSL rack, so we can finally see the routing from the mix channel to the main console.

II. Open up the console channels to the RE format to allow developers to make their own channel strips. (add half racks in there while we are at it.)

Can it be due to this Bug in Reason 12.5.2?

It is, I always automate the master fader from a few seconds to ms to have true zero at the end of a track in case there is any lingering reverb tails. Happy this is a known bug and not some mystery. Hoping the update fixes it for all users affected.

How wide polyphony do you need to play? Wouldn't 8 voices be enough for one instrument in most cases? In almost any case, yes. That's why I was perfectly fine using Ochen K's Microtonal utility until I discovered the bugs. But now I have 8-99 voices per note depending on the synth and it sounds deep.

I also wanted to be able to choose any sound/instrument for a given note - especially in case of orchestral music. Maybe when I get to developing, I'll make my dream tools. Depending on the limitation of the SDK for player devices, this should be possible without overhauling existing developments. ...
