Re: When tweaking an effect combi for unity gain, what's the best test signal?
Cheers. Sine waves sound good for a lot of effects but what about EQ based stuff? The effect I was working on was an amp cab - what would you use?

Re: Refill/RE beta testing and developer forum
Hi guys, I present to you the next step in making ReasonTalk the #1 place for Reason users, Refill creators and Rack Extension developers alike! I'm a few versions behind, so I can't test new REs, but I imagine I'm not the only PUF regular who didn't become an RT regular. Out of curiosity, have you...

Re: Infinite CV? I need a CV signal to never stop rising. *scratches head*
I'm not sure what you are asking here, whether you want an infinite CV signal as an end in itself or you want the CV to facilitate a continuous pitch increase from 0hz to the end of the audible range. I want the cv to slow or speed a delay line so that the incoming audio's pitch is changed, for lon...

Re: Infinite CV? I need a CV signal to never stop rising. *scratches head*
A CV can't got forever as it can only travel 0-1. Besides after a while the delay would become so long it would cease being Chorus and become a Grand Canyon echo. There is a way to do "endless" flangers but I have never looked into it in Reason. Will a Pitch Shift do the trick: Polar or Audio Track...

Infinite CV? I need a CV signal to never stop rising. *scratches head*
I'm playing around with pitch effects, using cv controlled delay times. But I only get the desired pitch for a short amount of time. Also, if you use an lfo, the Echo has a static delay time for half of the cycle - bug?

No, that keeps the envelopes from retriggering.

You know what's a great mix? Werewolves of London.
I've always though that Zevon's stuff was well done on a technical level but it only just hit me just how well this song is mixed. It doesn't hurt that it's a simple recording, of course, but still...

Polar. I haven't tried it, though. Neptune CAN but sounds bad. You can record, duplicate the track, and repitch in the sequencer, if you don't care that it's not real-time.

Do you know what, exactly, the x and y controls do? Trial and error hasn't gotten me very far.

A few passes at each transposition. No pitch correction.

How do you use audio convert audio to a gate trigger?
There are a couple of envelope followers but that's not quite what I want - I want to use audio to generate a gate signal. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Pick a Reason native device to upgrade to v2
On the topic of more filters, I'd love a modeled ARP 4012. (System 500 and 2500 filter module models wouldn't hurt, either, but can wait.) A sustain stage for the mod envelope would be useful, too.eXode wrote:Thor II...
