Re: Your fave album? Why? What makes a great album?
Why? Because it's still relevant today as the day it came out I think this will be a common "thread" in favorite album picks. I didn't feel the need to go into the musicality of U2's Joshua Tree because pretty much everybody knows of it and it is still relevant in my opinion. They are going on tour...

Re: In-ear binaural microphones: Which ones are best?
To me the Rolands sound pretty ok, not much difference IMHO. You must do what you think is best of course, I can only recommend the Soundmans because I have those. The Roland fits differently inside the ear, I wish mine had that fit as well.

Re: Tune a reverb to the key of a song using a comb filter
But IF you play a sound that is correctly tuned the reverb will also be correctly tuned. I think you're misunderstanding the meaning of "key of the track" (edit: or that percussive elements need to be tuned to the tonic in order to be "correctly tuned" when this is not necessary). If you have a per...

Re: In-ear binaural microphones: Which ones are best?
The Soundman ones come with a cool case! :D They look nice. They look like they too handle loud noise well. I am having a hard time finding good examples using them though. The ones I have found on YouTube make them sound way too bright and noisy. I feel like it might be the people operating them. ...

Re: WAVES Nx – 3D AUDIO ON ANY HEADPHONES
to me, it sounds as binaural. I bought it because I wanted binaural in the box, without whipping out the mics every time. I don't use it for mixing or tracking, I record the output. Cool thing here is that you can automate with your head!

Thanks Peter!
I wanted to do vocals on it but failed eventually.

(Electronic, Peter Lansford, Remix) Undercurve - Remember
I did a Peter Lansford remix a while ago. Sadly Peter deleted the original I used, no stems, just the mp3.

Re: Real Talk - McDSP Compressors
I totally understand the Key and Listen functions now, the only thing I'm asking if you tried the C670 without Key inputs and on Listen mode. I hear something different. It maybe a volume bump though! I'm going to do ABX tests tonight, to be sure.

Re: Real Talk - McDSP Compressors
Anybody knows where I can find the manual? I'd like to know what the two switches on the left do exactly. One would think the Listen / Comp is a quick way to enabled the Comp but I found that the Listen function does something to the sound. Both of those switches (assuming McDSP here) are for the K...

Re: RV7000 MK2 stereo?
FYI, I know how to hook up two RV7Ks to use as a true stereo inside a combinator. I'm just at loss here how this darn thing handles stereo Impulse Responses.
The hard way would be to split all my IRs into dual mono files and load those into two RV7Ks, but I'm hoping there's another way to do this.

Re: RV7000 MK2 stereo?
It outputs stereo, but it isn't true stereo. You can't put stereo into it although the back inputs suggests it does! Some prove for you: 1. Create a track and make sure it is mono, fastest way to do this is a mono audio recording. 2. Move the panmeter and listen to it moving from left to right as ex...

RV7000 MK2 stereo?
I'm a bit confused by the RV700 MK2 device. It seemed logical to me that with IR adaptation they'd make the thing stereo, but, unless I'm mistaken the MK2 isn't stereo. You can however put a stereo IR into the device. What I'm curious about are the following things: 1. Does it collapse a stereo IR, ...
