I know the Reason 6 months is tempting but the Arturia literally has a Reason preset script to work with it. That's my pick for Reason cause of that, and the Arpeggiator/chord mode on the Arturia looks more advanced IMO.

1) You do NOT need a wet/dry on this plugin, as if you dial the input right back and just compensate with output for level, that's much better than a wet/dry, RS audiomatic sounds nothing like tape whatsoever - it can be a wonderful effect but that's what it is, an effect, not a tape simulation, so...

Both, if you buy the RE you can request the VST from synapse but not the other way around.
